We went here at 8:30pm and you get 2 free toppings so we took advantage of it. I ordered the strawberry drink which was very good and tasty with the lychee. It was way better than the drink I had the other day. It is in a busy location too as it has to compete with the ice cream shop as it was crowded and out the door. I would definitely come back and try all the different drinks here -I was actually surprised how much spacious it was. I was initially expecting it to be smaller because all the stores surrounding the area are a bit small so that's good. (It's not the biggest place but it could be worse) -It's a great place to hang out for the family. There's lots of games like connect four, uno, and checkers for the public to use. It may be hard to find if you're new to the area, but trust me, it's worth the extra effort to find this gem of a bubble tea shop. It's like finally finding that shiny rare Pokémon you walked 6 hours to find. I originally came for the bubble tea, but I stayed for the foam. If you've never tried milk foam on bubble tea, you are truly missing something from your life. With either Taro Milk Foam, Matcha Milk Foam, or even Cheese Milk Foam, the perfect bubble tea dessert awaits you at Feng Cha. I was blown away by the Milk Foam here. I've tried other milk foams before, but I'll admit that I'd buy each of them at Feng Cha by the pint if possible. They're sweet, salty, and rich like no other. Terrible Tea place. Boba is soggy and not chewy. Probably been there for some time and definitely not fresh made. Tea is average but the matcha foam is nice. Given the numerous options for tea places these days and the low quality/bad experience, this is not a place I would come back. I saw the owner/manager interviewing and flirting with the cashier/job candidate. Freaky. My advice to the owner. Try to serve better quality boba by keeping them fresh. You will probably have better chance making good impressing with interviewee. Don't flirt or try to hook up with interviewee or employee. Not worth it. Focus on making this store a better tea place. It's the priciest tea shop I've been to in the Dallas area but it's absolutely worth it for its stellar and delicious quality. Not only is this place aesthetically pleasing in decor and environment, the flavor doesn't disappoint. Now that I've been a couple times, I always ask for 30% ice since they put very chunky pieces that take forever to melt, it's such a waste of space in their classic tall drink containers. They're popular for their milk foams so you have to splurge and get one on top of your drink, they are an experience! Hard to describe, but if I had to- ever had Yoplait Whipped? Like that consistency but fluffier and yummier. Check in on Yelp gets 10% off! Student discount with ID gets 10% off! While they do have a pretty great selection of fruit teas, I've only personally tried their milk teas. My recommendation for those wanting a safe option that isn't too risky is the Oreo Cheese Milk Tea. Don't worry- it's not like Cheddar cheese and Oreos (that's a frightening thought). Think of it more as a cottage sweet cheese. It's essentially a water down Oreo smoothie that's Milk Tea based with a Cheese Milk Foam on top (so no extra charge!) and sprinkled Oreo crumbs. It's the perfect one and done if you don't know what to get or are scared to try something too unfamiliar. For more experienced tea drinkers- the Feng Cha Black Milk Tea is delicious and very herbally. It's standard taste without any customizations isn't very sweet- which I like. Try it with the Sea Salt Milk Foam or Cheese Milk Foam! For more adventurous tea drinkers, get the Jasmin Green tea with Matcha Milk Foam. You'll thank me later. Not super sweet again (without customization) but it tastes amazing. Definitely more of a Jasmin note than that classic green tea flavor that's saturated the market. I love the flowery taste of the Jasmin that leaves me feeling refreshed! The Matcha Foam is the perfect extra sweet flavor kick I crave. Word of caution! I came to Feng Cha for the first time to meet a potential roommate. Walking in, I was greeted immediately and the store was very inviting. I couldn't decide which foam to get with the Earl Grey tea I was craving, so the girl at the register let me try all three. She was super helpful and I ended up getting the Matcha Milk Foam. I really like how much you can customize your drink, e.g. sugar level, tapioca level, ice level, etc. My drink ended up being around $5 and she let me know that there was a student discount so it was even cheaper.
