I'm not a pastry person but I love the "fruit ice cream." So, that's what took me there. They were good, as expected. What I didn't expect was the price. Were they good? Yes. Would I get them again for that price? Not likely.

All the desserts were delicious, and there wasn't much of a line even on a Saturday. There's plenty of seating available inside!

Had to stop on the way home for some yummy dessert. Got three items to go all soooo good but for $22.00 not sure how many times. We can stop by. A blueberry item. The lovely server suggested when I asked for lite item. Took items home so atmosphere was fully of customers. Nice place everyone nice but too high price for a quick dessert.

While I was visiting my friend in Dallas, she mentioned this place, so we decided to check it out. It's a nice a spacious cafe but it was busy. Luckily we managed to find parking and seating inside so we decided to get the kunefe to share because it looked so good. You can watch them make it fresh, and the smell was so buttery and delicious that we had to get it. We decided to get the classic one but there are plenty of other Kunefe options available to get. It was perfection. I liked that they have the extra pistachios and sugar syrup on the side because we had control over how sweet we wanted it to be. My mouth is watering just thinking of eating this again! I'll definitely be coming back for the Kunefe!

Came in on a Saturday night a little bit after dark and within 5 minutes of entering we had our desserts! You get to select entire cakes or individual pieces of dessert. Some are ready to go and others you have to wait for (like the crepes). The ice cream is so yummy and stretchy and the cake slices we had were not very sweet. They also have hot drinks and sodas and some prepackaged goodies ready for sale. Plenty of seating options indoor and outdoor, the inside was pristine (did not sit outside). It was cool to see lots of people from all walks of life here from employees to patrons alike!

I love everything about this place. From the vibes, the atmosphere and the food/drinks. The service is top and also I get their Dubai strawberries once every week and it's worth the 30 minute drive. My friends and I tend to go late at night after a hang out and it's amazing

Really loved the environment and the atmosphere, even at 11am the place was full with people and noise. They offer a diverse selection of dessert, that we lost count. The best halal dessert place till now I've seen in USA. Tried their viral teddy chocolate, but it was hard without any hot chocolate syrup. Will try their kinafa next time

We came here after dinner. Their menu is so big. The menu is wide and expensive. There are a lot of seating areas, and the music is good. They were busy, so service may take a minute. Their ice cream is so good. We got some weird flavors. Banana hazelnut, traditional Arabic ice cream, almond brittle, and s'mores. It was so good.

I recently visited Big Dash and I'm still thinking about the desserts! The hazelnut baklava tasted just like a Ferrero Rocher -- rich, nutty, chocolatey, and perfectly sweet. Absolutely delicious. The butter cookie roll was soft, buttery, and indulgent without being overwhelming. But the real star was the kinafa. The cheese pull was INSANE , perfectly crispy on the outside, warm and gooey on the inside, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Easily the best thing I tried. Don't walk, run to try their desserts. You won't regret it!

Loved this dessert spot! We tried the Kinafa with Keshta and the Chocolate Hazelnut Crepe, and both were delicious. The Kinafa with Keshta was warm, crispy, and creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. The keshta made it extra rich and smooth, while the pistachio and syrup on the side added a nice finishing touch. The mix of crunchy and creamy textures was so satisfying. The Chocolate Hazelnut Crepe was also amazing. The crepe was soft, fresh, and generously drizzled with chocolate and hazelnut, making it a perfect choice for anyone with a sweet tooth.

I came here 2x while I was in Dallas! This location is BUSY on the weekend, so expect to be circling the parking lot for a while to find a spot. I tried the Knafeh and Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup. Both tasted great! The Knafeh took a while to come out, but that's because they make it fresh. Ambience is really nice, as well. Definitely a staple if you're in the Dallas area!

One of our favorite dessert spots in the Dallas area! Our favorite items here are the baklava and pistachio desserts - they have a really good pistachio cake (probably my favorite) and cheesecake. They also have Dubai chocolate! For when we are dining in, we will usually get a latte or cappuccino as well. If you come with friends and want to hang out for a bit, there is a patio outside to sit and eat at. Another tip, they also sell boxes of their desserts which make great gifts!

It was around midnight, and the line was very long and there were no seats available to sit inside. However the pastries were very good. We got a lot of stuff, but the staff was very patient with us. The hard shell chocolate from the mushroom was very satisfying. Will definitely come back!

Afrah is THE place to be for Mediterranean food - before Greenville Ave became Arab central, before there was anyone, there was Afrah. A beautiful, airy restaurant with gorgeous seating, a bustling dessert case, ice cream center and so many treats to offer under one roof. Afrah is to the Muslim community in Richardson as a glove is to a hand. It truly is a one stop shop for all your nostalgic cravings, and it would be a grave injustice on my part if I didn't stop by here and sing praise to one of the most loved Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. We visited here recently for an iftar buffet experience and were very very happy with the food we got. The buffet line was running smoothly, from staff working diligently to hand everyone a tray with napkins, plates and cutlery already set for you. Waiters were going around the massive dining hall clearing plates, making sure everyone had what they needed, seating patrons and asking if everything tasted good. This establishment runs like a literal well oiled machine and I am so impressed. The food was as always out of this world. Carefully prepared menu that satisfies everyone's taste buds. A good selection of classic cold appetizers like the baba ghanoush, hummus, and variety of salads. Always including something unique for a typical Middle Eastern flare. Hot lentil soup available with bowls carefully placed in the vicinity. So many different types of kebabs and freshly made hot pita bread being replaced like clockwork. The buffet had many of my favorite classics like Shawarma meat, beef kebab, chicken kebab. Lamb, chicken stew, baked chicken, everything was present in abundance. They even had salmon which I deeply appreciated as a seafood lover. My only complaint is the food wasn't hot enough which can be annoying with a buffet that is serving so many people during a busy time like Ramadan. Everything tasted absolutely phenomenal and when I returned for dessert, I was greeted with six different types of sweets from all over the world. That's the thing about this place. There's always something for everybody. The dining hall was bustling with not just Muslim patrons, but also a lot of American white patrons who equally enjoy the food here as much as we do. Inclusions of dishes like shrimp pasta, fried fish, chocolate mousse, and other fan favorites is a humble nod to non-Arab customers who love to frequent this place as much as we do. If you are looking for a quality Mediterranean experience look no further than this long-standing Mediterranean Haven. Thank you for nourishing the community.

I love how many chicken options there are as someone who isn't crazy about beef or pork. There is also falafel and plenty of beans for your vegan/ vegetarian friends. This was a fabulous adventure! We took a few hours to visit Sarahs Market and ate lunch at their S Grill. The market is very small, but every inch of its space is very special. First, we found our way to the back corner and sat at a tiny countertop with only 4 chairs. The counter faces an open top grill, and you're able to talk/ watch the chefs make the food. The menu is limited and pricey! We ordered one steak kabob ($26.00). The steak was served medium rare, very juicy, on top of a long rice (similar to rice pasta), and it was coated in a delicious seasoning completely unfamiliar to us. It came with roasted tomatoes & purple onion. You can select from several sides, we picked the hummus. It was a huge portion, enough for 2 people. The chef was so pleased to have us and was very impressed that we were there to learn. He gave us many "generous" sized samples of the sides and sauces they offered. Everything was made in-house, from scratch with fresh ingredients from their grocery store. It was a wonderful experience! The bakery aspect of this location is a small glass display case full of sweets, like macaroons, cheesecake baklava, and more. Most of them were new to us. The pastry chef gave us a few samples that had us buying a bunch to take home, lol. We strolled through the grocery store part of the market before leaving and bought a few items we already enjoyed. The difference was buying things that are made in-house, like pita bread. You can definitely see, smell, and taste the difference. A FIVE STAR review for their authenticity, hospitality, and delicious fresh food. If you're in the area you've got to try the Grilled Kabobs.
