I am leaving this review not as a direct client, but as a fellow real estate vendor (a real estate…read morephotographer). Often in this industry, agents accidentally schedule multiple contractors at the same time, which requires us to coordinate on-site. I was already set up and actively shooting the exterior front of a home when an installer from NW Realty Sign arrived. I politely asked if he could wait just 10 minutes for me to finish the front exterior so he wouldn't be in the final photos. He became visibly frustrated, refused to wait, and insisted on digging the post hole directly in my frame. Because we both operate on tight schedules, I was forced to take the listing photos with him actively working in the yard. Basic professional courtesy and on-site teamwork are expected in real estate, and unfortunately, this company's representative showed a complete lack of both. Update received a reply from the owner of the company. ***""Thank you for your feedback. As you noted, this situation arose because the agent had multiple vendors scheduled at the property on the same day. While we always strive to be courteous and cooperative with other professionals on-site, our installers operate on very tight schedules, especially during peak season when they may complete dozens of stops in a single day. In an ideal situation, sign installation is scheduled after photography so that both services can be completed efficiently without conflicts. When overlapping appointments do occur, our crews are generally unable to delay service for extended periods without impacting the remainder of their route and other clients scheduled that day. We regret that the timing created a frustrating experience and appreciate the perspective you've shared. We value the many photographers, stagers, inspectors, and other vendors we work alongside and will continue to encourage agents to coordinate scheduling in a way that helps everyone succeed. Thank you, NW Realty Sign"*** ******* The owner's response is incredibly disappointing and completely ignores the actual issue. I didn't ask for an "extended period"--I asked for a 10-minute courtesy because my camera was already set up and actively shooting when their driver pulled up. Double-bookings happen in this industry daily, but instead of addressing the employee's bad attitude and blatant refusal to work alongside a vendor who was there first, they chose to blame our mutual client (the agent). Excusing rude behavior because their routes are busy is unacceptable. Accountability is clearly not a priority here.

They did nothing to keep that from happening either. They just let people show up un announced at any given time so if you have kids deffinitly don't rent from them because youll wake up at 5am to a crane setting roofing on your roof waking up both your kids because they decided that was okay. Again. With zero notice. .They just do what ever they want when ever they want to with ZERO regard for you. They have no respect and then they will also try and keep every single penny that you gave them for a deposit. As it states on their website If you pay a cleaning fee in the beginning you will not be charged again for the cleaning fee at the end of move out (APPARENTLY THATS A LIE) which tbh i fully expected them to try and pull some shady crap so I went ahead and paid a professional company $650 for a move out clean. Everything in that house was spotless and they're still trying to charge me $750 for "excessive dirt" which is funny because that place was literally spotless I have the receipts, pictures, and even video proof. They cannot and will not provide me with pictures of this supposed "excessive dirt" theyalso stated that after a 3 year lease mind you that there was apparently excessive "paint dammage" which i know for a fact is not true because again, pictures, videos that I took before leaving the keys on the counter as I walked out for the last time. They also can't provide picture evidence of this apparent "excessive paint dammage" they then tried to call me and tell methey were willing to give me $700 of my $3200 dollar deposit back instead of the $200 and something they originally stated was the case. Our attorney is putting the case together now and they will be dealing with him shortly. But to save yourself from the extreme headache and stress that they will cause you. Just run the other way. Rent from anyone else. They're hands down theworst managment company I've ever rented from. Im glad to have finally bought a home so I no longer have to deal with places like this. They're just here to rob you. So RUN. Tmg is great though! I had nothing but great experiences with tmg.

As first-time homebuyers, we did tons of due diligence with interviewing realtors. In the end,…read moreErin rose to the top due to her familiarity with & focus on close-in Portland, her matter-of-fact yet positive attitude, and her understanding of exactly what we were looking for in a home. Starting out, Erin chauffeured us around town for two or three Saturdays in a row to scope out available homes. This provided plenty of opportunity for us to ask Erin any question we could think of, which ran the gamut of real estate, architectural styles, home maintenance and repairs, favorite restaurants, and even how to care for backyard chickens. Erin had well thought out answers to most of our questions, and always followed up in a timely fashion to those few questions that stumped her. Erin is a great listener and quickly understood what we were looking for in a house, so we didn't waste time looking at places that would not interest us. We had fairly narrow search criteria (I wanted walkability and my wife wanted a large yard), so this complicated our search and we feared that the process could drag on for a year or more. And with such low inventory and skyrocketing demand, things looked bleak. However, Erin always kept a positive attitude and was confident that we would find our dream home. In just over a month's time, Erin flagged a house for us that met all of our criteria although we were unfamiliar with the area (SW). Erin was able to think outside the box though and guessed well that this house/Multnomah Village might be just the place for us. The house had been on the market for a while with no offers because the price drops were not showing up on the normal websites (zillow, realtor, estately, etc). However, Erin had insider realtor information that showed the price drops and we are convinced that had Erin not been our realtor, we never would have even known about this house. Upon visiting, it was love at first site. The house was spot-on what we were looking for and in a price range that we could afford. We knew we had to act fast. Erin reached out to the seller's agent and got lots of great intel. She also got comps on neighboring homes that had sold recently. Within a couple days, Erin submitted our offer that was substantially lower than asking, along with a 1-page letter (Erin's suggestion) about us and how much we loved the sellers' house. In a matter of days, we came to agreement with the sellers and negotiations began. Erin did all of the busy work throughout the process, which made our lives incredibly easy. She worked with the seller's agent on all the details relating to contractors, the inspection, needed repairs, and timing so that everything was done by our loan deadline. Erin had tons of great contractor recommendations who do quality work, and she met with them at the home numerous times to get bids and ensure the work was getting done and done well. We also had tons of forms to sign during the process, but Erin uses a system that allows users to electronically view and sign documents, making the process incredibly easy and fast. In just over two months from our first visit to the house, we are now first time homeowners and absolutely adore our house. Erin was with us every step of the way and we cannot imagine having had a better realtor. We highly recommend Erin for your home-buying needs!

She is honest, smart, funny, conscientious, and an all around great person. Portland is extremely lucky to have her! I selected Erin as my realtor from her Yelp reviews to help me find a home to relocate to from California. I had no idea where I should live in Portland. Erin spent a lot of time getting to know me and what I was looking for and needed in a Portland neighborhood. She is a life long resident of Portland so she knows everything there is to know about Portland, the neighborhoods, and what works well for different types of households. Once we had an accepted offer, she was incredibly helpful and diligent throughout the closing processing. Again, coming from California, I was not sure what to expect and what the issues might be in a Portland home. She helped me thru it all and made sure everything was checked out and verified. I would never have been able to do it all without her! Her assistant, Liz, is also great! She is a sweetheart and also became a trusted advisor! I have now been in my home for almost a month and I am so pleased with Erin's expertise and advice. I love my home, love the neighborhood, and I have Erin to thank for all of it! It was truly an honor getting to know Erin and she is truly the best realtor ever!

He helped pinpoint the types of neighborhoods we'd like and helped familiarize us with life in Portland. When it turned out that Carson had planned to be out of town the weekend I was going to visit Portland, he changed his travel plans so he'd be available to show me around some of the properties he thought would work for us. We ended up finding a place very quickly, but we were surprised to learn that the rental company would only accept cashier's check for a deposit. Since I was just getting into town and had several interviews scheduled, we were able to wire Carson money and he picked up a cashier's check for us. Carson's help didn't end after we signed the lease. When our first rent payment in the form of a cashier's check was lost by UPS, Carson went and got another casher's check and dropped it off at the rental company for us. He really went above and beyond to help make our transition as smooth as it could be. He offered to pick up the key for us and meet us at the house when we arrived; in my experience, it's usually the rental company who does this, but he knew he could be more flexible. He gave us some recommendations of things to check out nearby and made life so much easier. We'd recommend Carson for anyone looking for find more than a place to live, but a home.

We loved how easy he was to communicate with, and that he always kept us in the loop. Carson fought for us to receive a sellers credit when the inspection showed a few hiccups, and when the home appraised low, he fought again to secure us the appraised value! Huge savings! After closing, Carson followed-up to give us his personal recommendations for plumbers, electricians, handymen, etc., to help us with some projects we want to take on when we move in. Working with such an exemplary realtor made our home-buying experience seamless and (mostly) stress-free! I would absolutely work with him again if we ever decide to move, and will absolutely recommend his services to our friends and family in the area.
