We moved to the Benton area 1.5 years ago and I thought it would be nice to give our business to the local community store. We ended up purchasing a complete bedroom suit and a Catnapper power sectional. We purchased during the Thanksgiving time and was told that the sectional would arrive before Christmas. The bedroom suit was delivered a couple of weeks after purchase. Fergusons kept telling us the sectional would arrive the next week, the next week the next week. We ended up receiving it late January, while we had been using lawn chairs to sit on for 2 and a half months. We had the sectional for 4 days and the power lift on this sectional was engineered so badly it was ripping the material and bunching it up in the assemblies. It took another month for Fergusons to come out and explain that it would need to be replaced as well as the other end of the sectional. and they told us it would be months before another sectional would even be available. After so much POOR customer service we decided to let them pick up the sectional and give us our money back. Well, this store will not give you your money back or stand behind their furniture, so they would only give us a store credit. We ended up purchasing from another sectional at a quality store in Little Rock, which we should've gone to originally (the store that starts with "H" had us set up and delivered within 2 weeks). We had a $4000 credit at Fergusons that I didn't want to allow them to keep, so we bought a recliner (way overpriced) and then a power bed that we put in our spare bedroom (we were just trying to get our credit back, we already had a bed in that room) and it took over a month to deliver it, because they had mistakenly posted their paperwork as being delivered to our home. Well, we ended up having a $1000 credit remaining and I refused to allow this store to keep any of my money, so I went in looking at their artwork, just to get square with this store and found one picture I liked that they priced at $350 (could purchase online at any store for $100). And then I went in again last month to see what artwork they had once again. I was greeted by the usual salesman, and he told me that I would need to get this credit finally resolved (LOL, this salesman with the nerve after ripping my wife and I off about $4000 and wasting our time over a year and a half). I found another picture that the store had listed for $650 (the same pic I found online for $250) and that would square us away. All in all, this store probably cleared about $1000 just in cash from us with their underhanded credit refund practices. Nope, they don't even deserve 1 star, I had to give them that to make this post! This store is nothing but a small Ashley furniture store with a pitiful selection, that will force your credit back to them so they will not have to refund you, just drive 5 miles down the road to the main Ashely store and purchase from them if its Ashley furniture you want. read more

charged me 79 dollars to deliver an accent chair, I live 3 miles away, also what you buy better be what you want, they refuse all returns or replacements, they dont understand or care that what you look at in a large storeroom . can look much different in your home. not likely to buy there again, read more

THE STORY OF MY RECLINER AND FERGUSON FURNITURE STORE Right now I want the whole world to know that I have a very bitter taste in my mouth towards Ferguson Furniture here in Benton, AR and this is why. I went to their store on Saturday July 3rd in search for a good recliner and was met at the door by Mr. Bobby Becker. I told him what I was looking for and that the chair had to be comfortable and sturdy as I slept in a recliner due to my medical condition. We looked at a couple of manual recliners but with their new ratcheting technology I found it difficult to operate the manual lever to raise and lower the chair. Well, Mr Bobby advised that I could get me a cheater pipe to slide down over the operating arm to make it easier. At the time I thought he was only kidding me but now, in retrospct, I think he was actually serious. At any rate we moved on to Power recliners and I found one I really liked that had a remote control as well as on board controls. It was priced at around $2000.00 nd Bobby told me he would deliver it and pay the sales tax. I thanked him and adviswed that I was going to do some more looking and woud be back in touch with him. So, on Monday , after looking at other stores I called Bobby and asked if he still had the recliner we had looked at. He said he did and I asked if they could deliver it to me that day. He said he would check and call me right back, He never called me back, I called him back and he advised that they could not deliver it that day. I asked when he could deliver it and again he said he would find out and call me right back. Again, he never returned my call.. I called him back and he siad it would be sometime within the next 3-4 days but could not give me a definte day. My son and daughter were up visiting and they said they would go and get it so I called Bobby back, told him they were coming after the chair and would he make sure it was assembled. He assured me he would. So, when my kids returned with the chair, it was not assembled nd there was no instructions with the chair bout assembly or operation. I again called Bobby and asked why it had not been assembled. He said he was not sure but would find out and call me back. Well, you guessed right. He never called me back. Now John and Sherrie got the chair assembled for me and I called Bobby back nd askd why he had not returned my call and why they sent the chair unassmbled. He said he did not put assembly on my ticket so the warehouse people were unware that it was supposed to have been assembled. I inquired abot the assembly/operation manual for the chair and Bobby said he would get them for me and mail them to me. A couple of days later I had an occasion where the remote control would not work and the onboard controls on the chair did not work either and I had to wiggle out of my new chair. I called Bobby, told him what had happened and he advised me to try putting new batteries in the remote. I explained that that was not the issue because after I got out of the chair the remote operated the chair fine nd had continued to do so . He advised that he would send someone out to look at the chair. Exactly one week and one day later I have not seen or heard from anyone at Fergusons so I went to the store, met with Bobby and of course he was all apologetic but did agree to refund my money and pick the chair up after I had voiced my concerns about him lying to me and assuring him that I had no confidence that I would get any help in the future if there were further problems with the recliner. He then recanted and said he would refund the money only after they had picked the chair up and he determine that it was resellable. My wife and I purchased a leather couch and love seat from your store. They were delivered this morning by two young men, Mike and Brandon. they did an excellent job. they were very careful, and did everything I ask them to do. I found out the hard way that higher prices do not equal higher quality at Fergusons. The sales people are just that, pushy salesmen. We thought for once in our lives we would get good furniture at a fancy high priced store, but this stuff they sell is no better than FFO or Big Lots, just pricier. And those expensive Flexsteel chairs are no better than any other recliner. Found that out the hard way too. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store and go ahead and get regular furniture at regular prices. That way you won't be mad and sick at your stomach later. read more
