I arrived at the train station and chose an apartment close to the station for this reason. I asked Ben what the name was of the bus stop directly in front of their office and he had no idea, nor could he tell me which bus number went past. They would not offer the option to pay the deposit by credit card. (I would have been happy to pay the 3% fee, as this would be much less than the wire transfer fees.) They had sent me a contract saying I owed 100 euros balance when I arrived. Upon arrival they told me they made a mistake and I owed more. They seriously need to revise their processes and be more customer-focused. It seemed like I was in France, not Germany.

Only a 5 minute drive from the Patscherkofel Ski slope and 10 minutes from Innsbruck. In response to the review from John H., they have nothing against Americans. They are quite friendly and only want to keep their apartments in good shape for everyone to enjoy, and sometimes that involves reminding guests to be mindful of noise and conserving energy. They have definitely put a special touch into their rooms, are very welcoming and really do care about the experience of every guest. I recommend this to everyone that is traveling to Austria.

The owners were completely absent except at check-out, when their whole family seemed to come out of the woodwork to collect payment. I think they were worried that we might escape without paying. We also got scolded by the owner for closing the gate too hard and leaving a light on. The owner was, quite frankly, not friendly at all, perhaps he didn't like Americans or people of color (which seems to be a problem for Austrians...) or maybe he was just a grumpy old man. My kids were actually scared of him. We wouldn't go back as the owners were simply rude. Perhaps white people will have a better experience here.
