The service I received from Bertignol-Sailer was very poor. They could not leave the keys at the property and insisted I travel clear across town to pick up the keys. I arrived at the train station and chose an apartment close to the station for this reason. I asked Ben what the name was of the bus stop directly in front of their office and he had no idea, nor could he tell me which bus number went past. They would not offer the option to pay the deposit by credit card. (I would have been happy to pay the 3% fee, as this would be much less than the wire transfer fees.) They had sent me a contract saying I owed 100 euros balance when I arrived. Upon arrival they told me they made a mistake and I owed more. They seriously need to revise their processes and be more customer-focused. It seemed like I was in France, not Germany. read more
