We stayed here a week in a jacuzzi suite room, the front desk people were awesome right from the beginning. The restaurant, also amazing but I will leave them a separate review. Breakfast was simple. They had some sort of large construction workers there during out stay that would demolish most of the breakfast by the time we made it down which limited our options some days but the staff would always come check or if we asked for anything they would try to accommodate us. The pool and spa were both amazing, though the spa had some issues starting up, but we used these on a regular basis. There was hardly anyone there any time we did. All the staff members were friendly and rooms seemed very clean.
The negative: I hated the setup of the jacuzzi rooms. The bedroom is above the bathroom so if you go to the bathroom frequently at night, or need water like I often do, it's a pain to go down the stairs, especially when I can't see very well and wear contacts that I had to leave downstairs. We were in a room with a "street" view so there was a lot of traffic, but none bothered up at night, just if we stayed in the living area during the daytime. Also, it is a small drive away from most other restaurants or activities, which is fine but if staying for a few days or don't have transportation to yourself, could be a problem as the restaurant that is inside opens late and is closed on mondays. Also the front desk didn't have or didn't carry a lot of the items we "forgot" like qtips or a shower cap (since the pool says they require one, but I just tied up my hair and no one said anything). To me, all these things were pretty minor though and I would definitely return here again. I think this place would be great for families or kids as well, not sure i've i'd get the same room again though because of the layout. read more
