I'm used to staying in chain hotels and this didn't really meet anything except my price point. I'd stay here again in a pinch, but it's definitely not my first choice.

We drove a long 12 hours, arrived late, and had to pay $80 more for 2 pets/2 days. I would pay that gladly for a stay in a nice typical place, but when we arrived, the room we got had a dark carpet that looked over ten years old with large visible stains on it, no soap in the room (we later learned that was just a mistake) and a toilet that wobbled when you sat down. I had just been asked to sign a paper that said I could be responsible for up to $200 additionally for any damages caused by my pets, (!!), so I called the desk and told them I was not to be held responsible for the toilet and carpet. I didn't ask for another room, because I could see they were booked. They were very nice about it and said their contractor wasn't available (all of them were "in the mines" then?) yet and they would take care of it. But my main two complaints are that 1) the beds were too old and very hard, and should be replaced with new ones and 2) The only way to turn on the bathroom light is to crank a ticking timer on the wall which also turns on a roaring overhead fan. Wakes up anyone when turned on. Just get a solar panel mates, take that stuff out. Next day we came home late to find our key didn't work. Back to front desk. Oh! They moved us to another room. Had to collect stuff and move to new room. New room had slightly less hard bed, but not by much. It had a nice clean carpet and bathroom fixtures were all fine. But same dumb light situation. If you're staying alone and like a hard bed, this place will be fine for you, but it wasn't for us.
