This was followed by an unexpectedly rough, and non-relaxing day at sea. We were exhausted, to say the least. We still wanted to sightsee and experience the local culture, but wanted to cover the same amount of ground with less effort. We stumbled upon this local shop by luck. For the same amount it would have cost us for each of us to take a shuttle bus, we were able to bike to wherever the hell we wanted. And we did. We traveled to two different beautiful sand beaches with beautiful landscapes. We were able to reserve four bikes on very short notice. The shop is located in a very beautiful, centrally located spot. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. The pricing was extremely affordable and reasonable for the bikes that were provided to us for the day. They provided us with a couple of bike baskets and locks free of charge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Palma Intermodal Station is actually quite good. It is a bit dark and dingy but it serves its…read morepurpose as Majorca's transport hub for buses, trains and the Palma Metro. When we arrived on the bus into this station, we just followed signs to Plaza de Espanya and found ourselves right in the centre of the city. It is quite a trek from the bus stances to the street, probably as we arrived at a stance that seemed to be closer to Alcudia than Palma. But really, you have to go up an escalator, through the station concourse and then up another escalator. It is a good workout though. The station has modern facilities like shops, automated ticket machines and information points. For the Metro, you can only buy tickets from the machines which I found quite confusing as the ticket options (single/return/day) were all in either Spanish or Catalan and didn't translate properly. As it is underground, don't expect any nice lighting. It is dark and a bit depressing, especially in the bus stances and train station area. The public areas are okay though. I was glad to see that the toilets here are free compared to the 30 pence charge at British stations.

When we were departing, the crowd of people was very difficult to navigate. With lots of people and limited elevators and entrances, it created quite the scrum. We eventually got checked in and through security. The lounge options weren't great, but better than nothing.

Thanks to booking.com we found an amazing 'smartdeal' to book a double room in this cosy cityhotel with seaview! The neighbourhood is during the daytime a bit shabby and is in the late hours a true dancing & club area, but we cannot say that this was a problem... The location is a half hour walk from the cathedral and old city or a few minutes by bus 3 that will bring you to the centre or the beach in no time. Every 8 minutes there is a bus. the rooms are small but very handy, modern and trendy. There is a lot of light from the big windows and most rooms have a balcony. Look at our beautiful pictures to see the original decoration of 'the welcome room', the bar and the breakfast area. Breakfast is fantastic with yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread or toast, eggs (boiled or scrammbled), bacon, cheese, fish, jam, croissants, muffins, coffee, tea and even cava! From the minute you walk into hotel Feliz you feel welcome and the hospitality is unique! Very personal & friendly! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

I visited Loco Wheels earlier this week with a large group of family members while Palma was one of…read morethe ports on our cruise. Most had made online reservations. I had not. Two men were assisting customers. One, an older male (approx. 50s), handled our group. He confirmed everyone's reservations and then asked who had not booked online. I stated I had not, and he said it was not a problem and requested my driver's license, passport, and payment method. I informed him I did not carry my passport. A family member riding as a passenger volunteered to provide their ID. He accepted this option, and I paid for the rental with my credit card. My parents, both in their 60s, were also part of our group. After a brief tutorial outside by the second gentleman, my father determined the moped was unsafe for him and my mother. He explained his concerns to the original staff member, who was walking in at the time. The staff member waved his hand and said, "well, we're done. Goodbye." My father remained standing, and my mother guided him outside. I stepped in to ask about a refund for my parents due to the safety concern. The staff member became defensive and attempted to justify the decision, suggesting my parents were in the wrong for prioritizing safety. I asked where in the provided paperwork the refund policy was listed. After some back and forth, he said they do not issue refunds but would "make an exception" and offer my mother $20. I advised her to decline, restating that this was a safety concern. He again offered $20 in cash. I informed him I would assist her with a chargeback upon our return to the U.S. I proceeded with the tutorial, took the moped for two short spins to get a feel for the controls, as I had not ridden one in years. Within two minutes, the same staff member approached the group and asked loudly if someone else could drive my moped because I "wasn't getting it." Before anyone could respond, he began verbally explaining the controls while demonstrating with his hands. As a visual learner, I watched his hand movements. He told me to look at him while he spoke, stating I was being rude. I explained I needed to watch his hands. He acknowledged and continued. Before departure, I heard my father say they would not return to the ship and would walk the city instead. I decided to stay with them. I walked back inside and informed the same staff member. He again stated there were no refunds and referred me to their website. I reminded him I had not made a reservation and had never seen the website. He stated he would no longer speak with me, as the reservation was not in my name. I pointed out the person who reserved was outside and could request the refund. He told me to leave the store. I asked for proof that I had returned the moped, which he refused to provide. He came from behind the counter, walked within inches of my face, and told me to leave. I asked him to step back and informed him that if he continued to act aggressively, I would defend myself and that his cameras would serve as proof if the police arrived. As I turned to leave, I repeated my request for proof, and he again stated he "doesn't give that." I told him I would initiate a chargeback and let our banks determine the outcome. He accused me of "threatening him" for stating that. His behavior during the interaction included comments about the rental being a "favor" since someone else had provided their ID on my behalf. I clarified that this was his decision at the time and no one asked for a favor. If that arrangement was not acceptable, he could have declined it up front. Afterward, when the rest of my family returned the scooters, the same staff member made comments about me to them. One of them had to ask him to stop, as I was not present to respond. He also asked my brother-in-law to "please tell him not to leave a bad review." Based on other reviews its possible this gentleman was having a bad day. Its clear he thought over our interaction for him to have asked my brother in law to ask me not to leave a review.

She assumed adults only would be fun and exciting. At breakfast the first morning we realized this adult only hotel was for older people like 55 years old and up. It's on a beach so that's nice and the bus stop is super close. I love that you can hop on a bus for only 1.50€!! It took us downtown, by the Marina and the casino !! You can bus anywhere including the airport for 5 €. The hotel had a singer on Saturday we were drinking cocktails while everyone else had coffee or tea. But overall the hotel was nice and clean.

We enquired information about a rental car and the receptionist said she couldn't help us to go over to their sister property (super close) but I feel this is something she could of helped with as we are guest in this property. Over all the hotel is clean in a great location (why I gave it 4 stars and not 3) and helpful staff but would skip the food and there's no hotel parking also the service desk is just a desk sometimes with little flyers might be something they can work on.
