The rooms were lovely with big lock boxes provided and poofy white comforters. The bathrooms were clean, but again, me and my friend had all of these amenities to ourselves. I would say, however, that the location was not the best, depending what you ware looking for. It wasn't near the very touristy places and took a little bit of a walk to get down there. However, it was pretty near some neat restaurants and bars that seemed to have a more local flavor.

Since Andalusia is one of those regions, Seville is an ideal city to experience a Flamenco show. The dance has a distinct movements. It also includes a form of tap dancing and incorporates clapping. It is certainly a cultural experience. It is also a touristy thing to do but I was a tourist. It was an enjoyable experience one time but I am not sure I would need to do it twice. We attended a Flamenco Show at El Palacio Andaluz. Guests can buy a ticket for the show only. We bought tickets that included a 3 course dinner and alcohol for 85 Euros. The food was solid. The dish that stood out was the oxtail steak. It was chewy and very good. There are two shows each night. They last a little under 90 minutes. There were two one hour offerings--5pm and 7pm. I chose the former as I was hoping to enjoy one last evening walk around the city. The music was rhythmic, the dancing was entrancing, and the dance attire was beautiful. The performance space is quite intimate (roughly 75 seats on 3 sides of the stage), and drinks are available for purchase prior to the performance. There was no audience participation component--thank goodness. Check out the gift shop on your way out; there are a number of good finds here.

There are so many places in Seville that offer Flamenco demonstrations that it was hard to know which one to choose. After extensive research, I choose the Museo del Baile Flamenco. I liked that they supported the art form, and I was also interested in seeing the items in the museum. The beautiful performance definitely didn't disappoint. It was in a small venue and lasted an hour. The museum was great, and the dresses were absolutely amazing.
