While we didn't purchase anything this is the only place on the Main Street that actually acknowledged my sister and I and they were ever so kind and welcoming. We got to meet their pup too! I came back one day for a visit and met Sue, had a lovely conversation with her as well. I'm a new plant mom so this was definitely an experience for me, and I absolutely LOVED IT. It's like build-a-bear for adults. Something so special about choosing all the details from the plant, to the vase, to fun little accessories. And then you get to take it with you and hopefully not murder it in a week. So far so good though! I could spend hours in there though, for real. You can pick your plant, plus your vase and any fun accessories. They have a huge selection for such a small store. It's beautiful and airy inside. You genuinely feel like you can breath better. Such a magical little shop with the cutest little shop dog (Ellie). Beautiful house plants along with a large variety of beautiful pots and planters. Just recently picked up these two beauties! I already owned the pink plant the zz stand is in but she happened to have the exact same one in her shop so I was able to see how it would look! This place is located behind Plum. It's a separate shop that usually gets overlooked because there isn't a sign facing Main street and you need to walk though Plum in order to enter the shop. beautiful shop, full of very cool plants!! wonderful service!! I got the pickle plant (one I've never seen before in any other store) and the monstera ginny (a bucket list plant for me). The prices are normal for a plant shop, but the service is what made me want to write this review :)))! I went with my cousin who was expecting to fly home and bring her newly bought pots in her suitcase, and the shop owner carefully packed them in thick paper for her, giving extra sheets for later. She also kindly gave me (free of charge) a bamboo stick for trellising my monstera ginny with some green plant tape for tying it to the stick!! First and foremost this store has the most kind and helpful people. I had a plant emergency and needed help removing pests and repotting a beloved plant, I called Patricia and she was so kind and incredibly helpful. I was able to schedule a time to bring my plant baby in to the plant dr and she helped me fix her up. I am so relieved! In light of Thanksgiving, I wanted to make a review for how wonderful Fiddle and Fern is. The owner, Patricia, has been so kind to us throughout this last year and always goes beyonds expectations. We've come to her for many house plant concerns like, steps we can take to heal our plants, repotting, and (most recently) deal with scale bugs! For each of these, she was so respectful, insightful, and gave extra effort. Including always checking our soil, cleaning the plant and pot, and even adding new soil/fertilizer or replacing existing soil! Even for the bugs, she physically removed them and provided insecticide that was harmless to us. Our Monstera came back looking healthy, beautiful and shiny! We are so grateful for her help and tips as we are sort of beginner house plant takers and we are sure to come back. On top of all this, the Fiddle and Fern shop is a welcoming and magical place. Has tons of plants that are so well taken care of, and so many books, tools, materials to help maintain your plants. I often look forward to coming back to Fiddle and Fern! read more
