I thought I was still paying on the phone because I was buying it from them, but I was paying for the phone as if I had it was using it when it was stolen from me seven months ago I called and did my insurance claim told the guy to take the phone off but from my understanding, he couldn't take the phone off because I had a couple payments left on the phone. So long story short I call back today and cancel my phone but still have to pay another month on it because they're in a new billing cycle. After being transferred about 10 times and being put on hold over the course of an hour (CenturyLink had my first and last name reversed so I could not be found in the directory and kept getting transferred), the $100 disconnection fee for broadband services was waived. I checked my final bill, and there was still a $200 disconnect fee for voice services since the Internet services ran on DSL. Why would this not also be waived? I called customer service during the first week of April, and the representative said it would be resolved within three days after speaking with his supervisor. At this point, it's been two and one half weeks since that last call, and the charge is still on there. I have not been contacted by anyone for an update. CenturyLink has been the worst experience in customer service in any industry I have dealt with. It has also been the slowest and least reliable Internet Service Provider. I had to reset my modem nearly every day just to keep it working. This issue has gone unresolved for one month. What does a customer have to do to get this resolved? UPDATE: CenturyLink credited me with $200 on May 2, 2017, which was one day after I contacted the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I received my overpayment back during the first week of June with a check dated on May 30, 2017. I'm glad to have this resolved, but it's unfortunate to have to go through the BBB. I'll give you one star back.

After AWFUL customer service with the only other internet provider in town (3 weeks and no service…read more- the soonest available tech cant be here for 3 more weeks) I called Fidelity. The rep I spoke with was kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She scheduled set up for the earliest possible time (2 days) but sent an email to the tech department to see if they could come sooner. Five minutes after placing my order and hanging up the phone, she personally called me back to say they would have someone out immediately to get me up and running. How refreshing!
