Called TWICE ahead of time to confirm I didn't need an appointment and what documents I would need to bring in to get my request processed. Showed up as soon as they opened on a Friday morning, ended up taking the individual we worked with (John S.) about an hour to get through everything. He failed to have us sign a form (he had to overnight it to me, then I had to overnight it to my brother, and then back to fidelity) and didn't upload some of our legal documents. I've called back multiple times, and can never get anyone on the phone. I was told to upload said documents that I brought in the first time through their secure online messaging, but the files are too big (unsurprising, these are legal documents). The VP branch leader, Megan Hrabe, called me back, left a voicemail, but no callback number and it's clear from her voicemail that she doesn't understand the frustrations. We are going on THREE WEEKS of trying to finalize all information for a Trustee Certification even though we came prepared to the appointment with all information in hand. I don't know if this is the location I called but I needed help transferring my 401k to the correct account and after months of waiting for a check and getting my old account closed I was able to rollover my funds today. Thanks to Caesar, his customer service skills were A1. I don't think I've ever been helped by someone so patient and kind at the same time. He waited for me to login and download the Fidelity app and log in to that, took me step by step through the process. It made me feel confident and safe about what I was doing, this man deserves all the praise!!!! read more

We went in to deposit money for retirement and the person claimed we had maxed out our account for 2023 and he would not accept it. We called fidelity and, of course, we could contribute more money. Don't take advise from this location, they are clueless. If we had actually believed him, since we had already filed our taxes, we would have spent weeks trying to unwind the nightmare. Dangerous, to say the least. I would have called the branch manager to notify him/her of the issue but you can't get through to them so I'm leaving this warning for others. This is mostly a reflection on Fidelity itself, but also this branch. The website says to call to get ahold of a human and it's a lie. I've called and been on hold for more than an hour before just being hung up on. Middle of the week and middle of the day. They were open. I have tried to call the main IRA line more than 10 times and always being on hold more than an hour and NEVER getting to speak to a representative. This is a terrible institution and I don't know how else to say it. Terrible customer service. Absolutely the worst I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Please please, do not invest with these people because you will NEVER be able to transfer the funds out into your own IRA. Our "advisor" told us to write a check out for our Roth IRA and was never invested, called and told we couldn't see the vested information. Found out 2 years later, the money was sitting there, thousands of dollars sitting in an account never invested. There answer was that shes "not paid" to direct our money, we did exactly what she said and nothing was done. Gross negligence, please go with ANY other investment firm so you're money is at least invested properly. read more

This is the sleekest looking "bank" and investment office I've ever had the pleasure of walking into. With modern glass architecture accentuating the sea and pea greens, it brightens your day just being in the building. The best part of this Fidelity is that it doesn't feel intimidating. When you walk into many Charles Schwab offices, you feel strange asking (what appears to be) the receptionist to deposit a check into your checking or savings account. In contrast, this Fidelity's floorplan/set-up is casual enough for you to feel fine about carrying out basic banking needs because the front counter looks like an upscale teller's desk (complete, of course, with Bloomsberg News playing on TVs in the background). However, the seating area, Keurig coffee maker, and offices to the right of the entrance are professional enough to portray the understanding that important business takes place here everyday. I know this review may sound shallow, but first-impressions sometimes make all the difference in deciding who you want to do business with. read more

Visited this place twice in summer 2016. The first time to make a deposit. The second time to link a bank account to one of our Fidelity accounts, and while there also talked to a financial advisor. My experience with the front desk staff was always excellent. They were helpful and knowledgeable. My meeting with the financial advisor, however, turned out to be quite disappointing. I was one of these "self-directed" investors, and I thought I could learn more about Fidelity investing by talking to one of their advisors (they offer this service for free). I mostly wanted to ask the advisor technical questions such as what this meant and what that meant. He replied that as a "self-directed" investor, I was supposed to do research by myself, therefore he was not obliged to answer such questions of mine. Well, if I had the time to do all the research, and even better, to get a finance degree, I would not need people like him. To be specific, I was not asking him general finance questions, only some items about the funds Fidelity offers. During our meeting, he also said that my portfolio was small, and was not eligible to become "managed account". It made me feel like only people with large portfolios deserve more advice, but then when Fidelity manages such large portfolio, they get paid to do so. So why offering this "financial advisor" thing for free? To tell people "come back with more money, then I will give you advice you need"? After at least one hour of meeting, I left in disappointment and slightly humiliated. It was a total waste of time. This was my first meeting with such "advisor" in Fidelity. I am not sure if all of them act similarly though. But lesson learned, googling would be more helpful on investment than Fidelity's "financial advisors". read more

He kept asking what I wanted to invest in. I said that's why I was calling him. After a few minutes he said "Is there anything else?" and said goodbye. I thought that was their business. read more

Difficult to deal with at there national customer service number going all the way back to 1984.

This is the or one of the worst criminal inter prizes I have ever come across. They take your money even if you opt out and will not give it back. They say only when you turn 59 or leave your job. My daughter left her job 6 months ago they still will not release it and this is a small amout I would hate to see how long it would take to get your money when a person retires. I wanted my money back after opting out and they said no way, then I asked them to stop taking it out. They said they were taking 3% then they said they were taking 5% I said make it 0% then they said it would take 1 or 2 more of my checks so I will have more money sitting in limbo. The customer service was terrible they kept sending me from one 18 year old kid to another. They couldn't even give it to me in wrighting that I asked them to get me out. Is this the company you want to invest your future in, I think not! read more
