Off Broadway school of dance is probably the most unprofessional businesses I have ever come across…read morein my whole life. Between teachers never being present in the classes, teachers swearing at children, and teachers talking bad about students to other students, it just makes for an un-educational and disappointing environment. If you want your kid to be taught by other students while the instructors are on their phones however, this would be the perfect place for you. Teachers have cussed countless times at students 7-15 years of age. Children learn little to no technique at this studio. All that is learned is rushed choreography that is run all class every class for the whole dance year up until the recital. I was also disappointed in the way the studio owner talks to parents. Over all I do NOT recommend Off Broadway School of Dance in any way shape or form. Side note: The majority of positive reviews left about Off Broadway were made by fake accounts, family members of the owner, or friends of actual students all around the same time in an effort to cover up the studios recent reputation.

So, my daughter decided she wanted to leave "Off Broadway School of Dance". When pressed for a…read morereason, I told the owner that my daughter really likes the new dance school as the teacher is in class the whole time from the minute the class starts unlike Off Broadway where the teacher sends a student in to do stretches. This was Off Broadway's owner's response about my child... "Your kid should know how to stretch herself. If she listened to half of the things I told her she would be a lot better than she is right now but most of the time all she wants to do is run around." I feel horrible that I trusted this woman with my child for 3 years. Maybe if she was in the classroom, like she was being paid for, she would have more control. I just wish I knew how she felt a long time ago, I never would have trusted her with my child.
