Turns out you have to call 800-550-8509 (M-F 7a-8p) to get a letter like that and the branch can't do it. Which is fine but I was not offered this option by the banker I was dealing with (Juan Solis) or the branch manager "Steve". I was simply told "Sorry we can't do that" and not offered any alternatives. I found out what I needed from the 800 number via customer service. Why do we even need branches anymore???? Unacceptable.

It took months even with a lawyer working with us. Apparently our power of attorney letter was signed but it didn't actually say "Power Of Attorney " under the signature. It was on the top of the lawyers document and all throughout, but not under the signature line. So that held things up for weeks. All in all it took over a year to resolve every little issue for 10k.
