I checked locations for this bank in my area.I found the office located inside of the Meijer food store at the above shown location. I called the branch and was told to bring in the check. Upon arriving at the location yesterday,Wed. Nov 05,2014,and was told by the three ladies there that I would have to take said check to the traditional branch located at 2917 W.95th St, Evergreen Pk,Il 60805.The clerks did not say why they couldn't cash my check,but had a puzzled look on all of their faces as if they did to have a clue of how to handle the matter,and just wanted the issue to go away.In other words,they seemed to just get rid of me. Talk about passing the buck. I left and went to the other location the next. More on that lousy experience in my next review.

I went in with my elderly grandmother to take care of beneficiary services due to my grandfather passing. I flew from Dallas, TX to Chicago Il for 1 day specifically to help my grandmother take care of her banking business. When my grandmother and I came into the branch, Ms. Griffin was very rude to us. She asked what we came in for and when I explained the transaction needed, she stated she couldn't help us. I explained that I was there to help my grandmother and that I am Power of Attorney for her and that I only was in Chicago for a day so I could help her. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to go to another location. When I asked how come she couldn't assist me, she then started to ignore me. After asking her again why she couldn't help me and she continued to ignore me, I then asked for her name so I could file a complaint. She refused to give me her name. I had to go to one of the tellers and ask them what her name was and what her position was. I have never been so disrespected by a branch manager ever! Simone Griffin was very rude and disrespectful. A few of the other customers in the branch stated that she is always rude and mean to customers. I am absolutely appalled by the service I received from Ms. Griffin. I was so upset, I left that location and went to another Citibank branch. In no way should a branch manager ever carry themselves the way Ms. Griffin did.

Surely if Bank of America, Chase and every nail salon in Chicago have figured out how to service their customers either the Chief Operating Officer or the CEO should have figured out how to safely reopen by now, that is, if they gave a damn. This is the first time I walked into a PNC Bank and they wanted to charge me for a check. I needed…read morethe check for direct deposit at work. Mind you, my account is a virtual wallet account and it doesn't come with checks. It's supposed to be environmentally friendly so I wouldn't get checks. I get charged if I use the banker to deposit money, too. That's why I was surprised that they were going to charge me for a check when I couldn't even get free checks since the start of my account. This is also the first time that I walked in and the personal bankers were all full and the front desk told me that each banker would be at least an hour wait. It's like they didn't even want me to be there or want my business. The parking lot was soo full, too. Everyone was driving in and I was backing out of my spot which was near the parking lot entrance, all the cars kept driving and wouldn't stop. I swear, someone could have hit me. This is the worst PNC Bank I've been to, but definitely no where near the best.
