Put a couple hundred bucks in and account I was going to use for eBay buying and selling. When I heard the govt would be charging 26% for earnings over $600. I stopped using eBay. Now I get a letter, saying it's been nice but your no longer a customer, we took your money for not making any transactions in a year. Really you freaking crooks! This ain't no bank. I will not recommend you to anyone EVER! You just bought $200. Worth of bad press for the next 10 years, congratulations. read more

Established in 1951.

Established in 1951 Filer Credit Union has remained a community centered financial institution originally starting at the American Box Board Company (now PCA - Packaging Corporation of America). It was originally named Filer City Mill Employees Credit Union and started with around ten employees of the mill. We have grown since then but we remain member focused and local community based.

He's going to be on one of his 14 annual vacations (that you paid for) when State Farm's claim line tells you, in the middle of the night, in another state, that you have no coverage and they hang up on you and you sue him. Just don't bother in the first place. Farm Bureau can get you a better price for equal coverage, a human being will answer your calls and your questions, and you'll never have to wonder whether or not this is the face lurking in the shadows...
