After my husband reeturned from Omaha, Dr. Montgomery called him to see how he had gotten along and what had happened in Omaha. I have NEVER had a Dr. call after being in the ER to see how I was doing. Kudos to Dr. Montgomery. In addition to that, Dr. Montgomery made the right diagnosis not being an opthamologist. My friend is elderly and again the receptionist was great. Initially the doctor and nurses were condescending to her and interrupted me when I tried to explain my friend's symptoms as she had described them to me. The doctor even chided me for bringing her in until she, at my insistence, checked for rectal bleeding and discovered blood. Turns out she's anemic and dehydrated. She's being admitted.

All looks good, by the way. The facility has plenty of parking, mainly due to the 4-level parking structure next to the main buildings. Inside the lobby area was lightly populated and there is an information desk right in front staffed with a very cheerful and courteous clerk. All floors I visited this morning were clean and spacious. There were signs everywhere, especially ne'er the elevators, to keep me informed of where I needed to go and who was offices on each floor. In the lobby and you travel towards the main elevators, the was a pianist playing on what looked like a grand piano. I like this hospital quite a lot and am very glad to have most of my appointments here.

We arrived at the emergency room seeking medical attention for significant abdominal pain,…read moreunfortunately the condition and level of care we experienced were extremely disappointing and unacceptable , no rooms available and was 6.5 hrs waiting for a room with strong abdominal pain, waiting in a chair in the hall, personal very aggressive, no ethic or professional, empathy cero, the hell ,nurse no professional, not mean that basic standards of patient dignity, privacy, cleanliness,professionalism are abandoned by this hospital.I would strongly recommend that hospital administration review the conditions in the emergency departmen,horrible patient care and toxic environment.
