She has a knack for finding things other doctors miss. She's not the type to call out for lab work for the slightest little thing but if she thinks you need something she'll explain why. When you book a full 15 min appointment slot with her, you get her full attention for 15 minutes. She listens, she responds, and you don't have to wonder if she cares about her patients. It shows. You know. You can see it. And the results prove it. And she knows her stuff. If you live within a 100 mile radius of Seward, NE she's worth the drive to go see. 5 stars. All of them earned. I had a local doctor who couldn't figure out something and I got misdiagnosed. A phone call, a couple of mailed pictures, and she immediately knew what was up and how to fix it. He has a hygienist that does a great job with cleaning your teeth. His assistants are very good also. Dr. Mike has his wife as one of his assistants that you don't see very often. They make a great team. Dr. Mike reminds me of his dad that was my only dentist growing up. He was the only one that my parents took us to. Dr. Mike is as good at joking around as his dad was. Not gonna lie, I was really surprised to find out that there was an esthetician in Seward. But I…read moream super happy that I finally went because EJ. Is. Wonderful. I ended up getting a mini facial with 30 minutes in the cozy sauna. After the sauna, I got a wonderful foot scrub and massage and then headed in for my chemical peel. EJ was very careful and proactive with making sure that the peel was playing nice with my skin, which has left my skin not bothered in the slightest but delightfully smooth. While the peel was on, I had the absolute pleasure of getting to have my clogged pores extracted, aka she squeezed out all the dirt from my clogged pores. If you're like me and your mom always told you to never pop your zits, lemme tell you what: there is NOTHING BETTER than getting to have someone else do it safely and cleanly. I then got a nice, long amd seriously satisfying neck, shoulders, ear and scalp massage. After a long day of work, it was amazing. That's not what I liked best about my appointment though. I'm a total skincare nerd and it was an absolute delight to talk to someone about what I was using and why. EJ explains skincare really well and we had a wonderful conversation about it. If you have a teen struggling with their skin, I would suggest getting them to EJ stat so she can help them out with sane, effective skincare.
