So it was a fall event so they had these cool frames that they made sea glass art! The projects came out awesome! Cool clear frames and you got to choose your design. I am headed to the next event with my wife to see how my skills hold up lol.

Allie are you reading this???…read more Omg...after the absolutely fabulous Xmas Xtravaganza at the State Theater, we came here for the afterparty...and discovered it was a hall, with an elk in front. (We totally were expecting to enter like ...a bar....and saw stuffed animal carcasses). The bar had drinks listed with names such as "Chubby Russo" and we had tol sign a guestbook...probably for blackmail purposes at a later date. The place was weird...tis true..but it was one of those fun, interesting experiences I won't soon forget.

"Allie and Aly Go to the Elks Lodge" by Allison G…read more Once upon a time, on the first night of December, Aly W. and Allie G. attended Glen Burtnik's Xmas Xtravaganza at the State Theatre. Aly had worked tirelessly selling t-shirts and CDs for Spiraling (http://www.spiraling.net), while Allie worked tirelessly at watching and enjoying the show. Little did our heroines know, the ELKS LODGE awaited for the after-party festivities! The Elks graciously invited the performers (and friends) into their lodge. Aly and Allie were greeted by not one, but (at least) TWO mounted elk heads. The Elks had a nice bar and a great open-space area. Numerous delicious pizzas arrived to feed the famished bellies, hearts, and souls of the musicians and the Allies alike. Aly and Allie, unsure of Elk traditions, were impressed by the excellent ladies' room! They were even more impressed to learn that the leader of an Elks Lodge is termed an "Exalted Ruler." At the end of the night, they were honored to sign the Elks' guest book, so their December Elks Outing is forever recorded for posterity therein. The End!

I just had my daughters Baby Shower this past Sunday 1/21/18 at the Colonia Country Club and I must…read moresay that I would have all my future events there. The food was fantastic, the service was exceptional and Maria the event co ordinator was so friendly and helpful. During and after the shower I received many, many compliments from my friends and family about the atmosphere, food and friendly staff. I had a brunch which included a chef who prepared any kind of omelet that you asked for along with many other choices of food including chicken, salmon, pasta. vegetables on and on and on. The price was very reasonable.The cake was one of the best I ever ate. I also received many, many compliments on the cake. I did not have one complaint about the entire experience . My Daughter Lauren who is expecting in March could not thank me enough for having her shower at such a lovely place. Thank you all at the Colonia Country Club.

The Knights always have delicious fresh food, and never run out. They also have steamed clams, and weekly specials. Besides the fish fry, they have other great fundraisers during the year. Polish dinners and tricky trays to name a few. Be sure to check out this great charitable organization!
