We found out that he didn't do their taxes correctly and also didn't submit them to the IRS. As a result they owed over $2k in penalties. He decides when to answer his phone and his wife changed her number. He put an extension on their taxes when they didn't need it - it was all his doing and negligence that he said he needed an extension and let it go past the extension then lies about what the actual allowed extension timing for the IRS was. We are going to have to take legal action as $2k to pay for someone else's lies and elderly abuse is not ok. My parents taxes are as SIMPLE as they come and for him to do this to them is unforgivable. Take your tax needs elsewhere. You've been warned.
