We already have a wealth management advisor, but they advertise heavily and I was curious, so I reached out. While the initial intake call was fine - I provided a lot of personal/financial info to them - the follow up's were just - confusing. I got bounced around to different people and this is never good when dealing with financial matters. In total there were 5 calls (several to the wrong the number) and 4 emails from 3 different people, but it was the 3rd person who sealed the deal. When I pointed all of this out, they never apologized and basically said they didn't want my business.

Was with Sam Hebert​ Financial Group for many years, my portfolio did not grow much over those 10…read moreyears. When I called and ask him to liquidate my funds to transfer to another firm. He had a portion of my funds invested in NY Life's mutual funds which were locked and could not be transferred. I called several times to have those funds liquidated, he would not take my calls and after a month his firm would not answer my calls. I eventually got in contact with Eagle Stratigies and was able to liquidate my funds. The mutual funds that he had me in were funds used to make him and his company money. I would not recommend using him as a financial advisor.
