My bridesmaids and I were all running late due to a mishap with our makeup artists, but no problem- Adam still made the most of it and took as many cute & fun "getting ready" photos of us before the ceremony! Then after the ceremony he made sure to go down a whole list that he had collaborated on with us and took pictures of every single family member and bridal combinations he could. I have heard of people having bad experiences with photographers who are either too intense/demanding or too passive when it comes to taking the group shots but I must say Matt was perfectly efficient and politely directive. The videographers were present enough to capture the day fully yet we never felt that there were cameras in our faces. Our video came out so beautiful & looks so professional. A friend even commented that it should be the music video for "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran because of how well done it was. The one hold up we had was picking one of the licensed songs that they had to offer - this isn't a Blueflash concern since I'm glad they are paying for licensed song but the main website they use just didn't have some of the songs we had originally thought of. When I brought this to their attention, they immediately provided a second option for buying our own songs & ultimately newer songs were uploaded to the original website so it all worked out! We had the distinct pleasure of working with Matt for variety of wedding-related events this summer. When we first met with him over coffee, his passion for his work, his commitment to each couple he photographs, and his talent were evident, as was his expertise in PVD/RI photography- the ideas he had were abundant and we left our first meeting feeling like we'd known him for years. When we shared with him that we were planning a non-traditional wedding with an elopement and a reception in Providence later that summer, he was immediately on board. He went above and beyond in capturing our engagement photos, our reception photos, and even traveled to Greece where he captured the most gorgeous photos of our elopement. Matt exceeded all of our (admittedly high) expectations and did so with such an ease, kindness, professionalism, and joy. He was FUN to be around. We became fast friends with him, as did everyone at our wedding, and will value this relationship for a very long time- we feel so privileged to have met him (and his lovely wife). On the wedding day, Matt was with us the entire day, from getting ready at the salon/hotel to the end of the reception. All day, Matt was present to keep us calm when needed and invisible when we needed privacy for more intimate moments. He helped us come up with ideas for a gorgeous first look and was even willing to walk around the venue with us the week before the wedding to make sure that we weren't wasting time on the wedding day trying to find the best picture spots. At the end of the night, many guests mentioned how fun our photographer was. Matt sent us our wedding pictures in a very timely fashion (less than 2 weeks after the wedding!). PERSONABLE & REAL…read more..... My (now) brother-in-law was told he may be going overseas for a 9 month deployment (military) so we started to put a wedding together with very little notice. Kim was recommended by the photographer (Vee) who worked at my 1st wedding. Kim was responsive and available on short notice (holiday too - Memorial Day). We could not be happier that we hired her! Just in talking with Kim before the wedding (2 month timespan), we became friends. She met with me & my fiance beforehand to discuss what we were looking to capture in our photos, and she did! Kim is very personable and she blended in with our family at our intimate wedding of 25. We were married May 2013 and we still keep in touch :) Kim's photos are gorgeous and many friends and family have commented on how natural they look. It was drizzling and the ceremony started late. Kim was understanding and took that time to meet our families while setting up. You would never know how cold & miserable it was that day by looking at the photos. Everyone looks happy! My cousin gave me great advice before I got married: she said that the photographer is following you around on what could end up being a stressful day, so you want to make sure the photog is someone you can stand under those circumstances. Mo is that person!! She is down to earth, funny, and informal. My husband and I are not models by any means, but Mo talked us through the best ways to hold our bodies. She jokes a lot and put us at ease right away. The photos we've seen from our wedding day are incredible - the shots are real-life, not fussy or stuffy, which perfectly captured the vibe of the day.
