Foothills Tree Experts of Fort Collins, CO came out to prune and/or remove seven large trees on our…read more8-acre property off Bingham Hill Road on March 12, 2025. They had the job completed in less than four hours, including clean up. It was impressive to watch how organized and efficient they were. We particularly appreciated that any time there was the slightest question about what we needed done, they made sure to ask before proceeding another step. Many of the trees were located at the periphery of our inner yard area which is surrounded by wooden rail fencing and they took particular care to ensure no damage was done to the wooden rail, the flower beds or grass. After agreeing on the original estimate and start date, I contacted Kevin later to add a couple of trees which he did without hesitation for a bargain price. I don't know most of their names as there were probably ten or more working under Kevin's direction and all, to the man or woman, friendly, especially Daniel, who loves animals and even "hugged" our 2,000 lb pet Angus steer, Bosco. We've had many contractors out to our new home since we moved here but the folks with Foothill Tree Service most assuredly stood out with their professionalism, enthusiasm and pleasantness.

Jeremiah and his crew did an amazing job removing our very large tree that had split almost to the…read morebase--you could hear it creaking in high wind! The chain saw made quick work of the tree, but required James to go up the tree and remove the branches starting with the small ones, and ensuring they fell away from the house. Paige was on the second crew that came in with a machine we'd never heard of--a stump grinder. Lots of wood and debris resulted. As with the first crew, they did a thorough job cleaning up with a gas-powered leaf blower and plastic bin for all the wood shavings. The first crew used a wood chipper. Paige also answered some unrelated lawn questions I had. Similarly, Jeremiah also removed a small ash and dead bushes. Both also took away some metal stakes that were left by previous owner that I couldn't easily dispose of. We're so happy with the professionalism and sheer niceness of these people, we wanted to write a review. It's also great to not worry about the tree splitting and injuring the house and to have lots more planting space. Nice people deserve to be rewarded!
