Tried a few different outlets in north eastern US - Grove City, Akron and Buffalo. I was looking for something closer than Grove City and Akron and found Waterloo Premium Outlets. I am extraordinarily happy to have found this mall! We had a much better than the other outlets with both the available stores to shop at and the deals and even the food we had! Nice enough outlets. Somewhat of a decent selection. Nothing that stands out from other Premium Outlets. The bathrooms are far and few between and there aren't many decent dining options. Had good sales over the weekend and there is plenty of parking. read more

Visited there on the way back to Toronto. I was pleased that they had a Bass shoes outlet, as this company has a broad range in men's shoes in wide. The Mall itself is an outdoor mall, with a very paltry food fair. There is a fair selection of stores, but not an outstanding one. I have to wonder with the strength of the U.S. $ when all is said and done if it is a really good deal. There are however stores that are not represented in Canada and there is a large choice of items. I would not drive this far to go there. I was just passing through. read more

I love how close Waterloo is to home, I've been a few times since moving to the area. What I will say first is that it's small compared to what I'm used to for outlet malls. I spent most of my life in Florida and I lived about an hour and a half to two hours from 3 very large outlet malls. So I was a little disappointed the first time I came in the number of stores. Now that I know what to expect I really like it. There aren't really any bells and whistles here but it's a good place for a nice walk and some deals on clothes. read more

Very big mall. Like other simon malls, waterloo premium outlet (woodbury is another) satisfies your desire to shop like crazy. There are bunch of well known brans like tommy, under armour with discount prices. It has a Vast parking area and clean bathrooms. There could have been a coffee shop to just chill, which was really what was missing for us! read more

There are so many stores here! There's something for everyone here. There are many restrooms around the area. The restrooms were kind of gross. The thing I don't like is the food court because it's so tiny! There's a couple of other food places outside but there's not much in the way of food here. Most of the stores I went into the employees were helpful and one even gave me a map of the mall which I thought was nice. I would definitely come back again. read more

Since it's the only outlets in central New York, one has to make do. I have been to a lot of outlet malls in California, this one is really small in comparison. Everything is located in one complex which makes for easy shopping. The deals are ok, if you go to their website you can find a directory of the stores there. read more

The Waterloo Outlets caught my attention even in the dark as my friends and I drove toward Buffalo. The stores looked impressive and they had some great brands. On our way back, we made sure to stop and we were not disappointed. Tons of stores with great prices. My friend loved the shoe stores and I was very impressed with the giant Old Navy outlet. I will say I wasn't as impressed with New York's high sales tax though! The outlets are spread out so you should be prepared to walk. There was plenty of parking when we went, and I honestly can't see it ever being too difficult to find a spot (but I've only been there once so don't take my word for it!). They had a unique selection of stores, and the prices were truly discount. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd be sure to stop. read more

This is a fun day trip to have a fun day shopping. You can find some really good deals here. I enjoy coming here alot. Food court has a nice selection. Parking is easy even if it's super busy. There are a ton of stores here. It's a blast coming here and look for the great deals! read more

I live in between waterloo and grove city and prefer Grove City for more selection and no sales tax. Waterloo only has a few stores I feel are must visits and overall I didn't find a ton of good prices. read more

I stop every time I drive by to / from Boston from Buffalo. Parking is easy, but can get really tight at peak times (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Holidays). Quick side-stop off the highway. Not the best Outlets, but very, very far from the worst. read more

I love coming here! Enjoy a nice summer or in my case a lovely fall day walking around and shopping! You name it, its probably here. To fancy clothing stores to athletic stores to amazing coffee and chocolate stores! The list goes on. Its a very clean and happy environment for the most part. The food court kinda sucks though. They don't really give you much to choose from. I loved the ladies at Yankee candle! They acted like they knew us for years and we chatted the whole time we were in there. They were way better then the rude people at american eagle. 5 people standing around while I stood in line waiting for my turn, even though I was the only one standing there for about 5 minutes before one noticed me standing there. The one store that drags me in the most though is vanity fair. I just love love love That store!! It has everything you could dream of, so many styles and brands! read more

A short drive from Montreal on the way to Buffalo, Waterloo Outlets is a great place to pick up some deals on clothing and especially shoes. Always a great place to stop as the outlet isn't very crowded. read more

I guess we'er spoiled here in CT. Our outlets have Off Saks 5th Ave, Brooks Brothers, Cole Hann, Juicy, and Michael Kors. As with most outlets the staple Old Navy, Coach, Banana Republic were here...but it was nothing fantastic. If I lived in the area it would be a decent plaza to have near by, but nothing too high end. I prefer the Woodbury Common outlets much more to these...Then again it depends on your style and preferences. read more

I came here with relatives who lives in Toronto, and for them an outlet mall here in U.S. is shopping paradise because they say it's much cheaper than doing so in Canada due to the GST tax they have up there. Here they have pretty much all the stores one expect and would like to find at an outlet mall (especially compared to my experience in visiting the few closest to my hometown of San Francisco). The key for me is that they have the Ralph Lauren Polo store, which is definitely a big plus because it seems many don't have this one. read more

Shopping day with Mom! Typically in the summer I avoid the outlets as they are so congested with tour buses coming in. Going on a beautiful, sunny Thursday was ideal! Though a tour bus pulled in as we were headed to the food court! Always remember your AAA card because when you go to customer service (located in the food court) you get a VIP coupon book for many stores located at the outlets. There were tons of good sales going on and I was sad to see that Jones New York was going out of business. However, we were able to get many nice items at good prices while there. Van Hussen, Bass and Maidenform also had good sales and it was the perfect time for summer clearance and fall clothing coming out. It was a successful day for both my mother and I! read more

kinda of far and in the middle of nowhere almost, but the stores are pretty good. there are around 100, so chances are you'll find something you like. and since the outlet is pretty much U-shaped, it's easy to see everything (won't miss any stores!). the sales are kinda on and off. when i went this past weekend, there didn't seem to be as many sales as usual - but the ones i found were pretty good (50% off at gap and stuff). the customer service at many of the stores needs a serious overhaul. at many stores, i saw the staff chatting around the cash register, leaving the change rooms un-staffed and being very unhelpful to myself and other customers in the store. read more

Drove by here today and said to myself "I have to stop here"! Just dropped into Nike and the Puma store. Nike was so-so. Got a nice pair of shoes for my daughter. Puma was un impressive. A nice selection of enough to make a good dent in your wallet. Will have to head back for a 4 hour session! read more

We like driving up to Waterloo just to go shopping. Limited stores but we always get good prices and what we are looking for.

Lots of options. Can't complain for an outlet mall. Ton of stores. Prices are really that "amazing" in terms of finding incredible deals but it's not expensive either. Not many other options in central NY. read more

Waterloo outlet is ok and located near farmers. The outlet is too spread out to walk and could have been better arrange. Nice and clean environment exterior, some stores are messy inside. Wonderful customer service. Large parking lot with seagull flying over in some areas. Prices are reasonable. read more

this place is the definition of a tourist trap. located off the highway with nothing else around except for an adult book store. i always thought that outlet stores were supposed to have great deals, but this place did not. if anything, some places even seemed MORE expensive than usual! some friends and i stopped here on the way back from Rochester because my one friend wanted an Adidas shirt. we drove around a bit and didn't see the Adidas store, and we couldn't find it on the directory. we went into a couple other stores and my friend asked a cashier if he knew where it was. they didn't, but luckily a customer overheard us and pointed us in the right direction. apparently there used to be a big factory outlet store there but they downsized to a much smaller one. we went in and came right back out after 2 minutes of not finding anything. we also went in Lidz, which had some cool hats, even a 90's style Seattle Mariners hat that i liked, but there's no way in hell i'm going to pay $35 for a hat. we went into a sports collectibles store and again left within a few minutes of not finding anything too good (wtf? the NY Mets are doing great this year and it's still hard to find their shirts in stores!!) i really don't feel the need to go back here. you can probably find better deals in your local mall or on the internet. read more

Good value for money. Be sure to go online and figure out which stores have discount coupons for the day that you're visiting.

I would say many of the stores here have clothes especially made by the brand to sell to poor suckers just looking for a low ticket price. Don't believe me? Check out the Banana Republic factory store. That stuff is like poorly stitched toilet paper. Get a sweater from Van Heusen, Bass, Eddie Bauer, etc. and you can expect to wear it once and then it will get those annoying little sweaterfuzzballs on it. I would suggest you go to Eastview mall and just search the clearance section if you want a good deal. If you really enjoy outlets, I have had better luck in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls region. read more

As far as outlet malls go, Waterloo is excellent. There are some great deals if you really look for sales, but there are other things that are about the same price as the regular store. Also, you will do a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. read more

Maybe I'm spoiled because I live close to both the Manchester, VT and Lake George outlets, but wow. Just wow. Messy stores, miserable employees, no good food, and really not a terribly good selection. Only good stores were J Crew and Yankee Candle. read more
