Casey's opened a new gas station at 64th Street & 9 Highway in Parkville, but they aren't making pizzas there yet. This brought us to a strip center on North Cosby where Casey's has a pizza kitchen. We ordered a large pizza with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers and onions. And it was much better than what we get at Domino's. We liked the thinner crust, the taste of the tomato sauce and cheese. We devoured the whole thing. I was surprised how good it was. Can't wait for them to move this to the Casey's gas station closer to our home. Casey's pizza is not what you'll find at a local artisan pizza shop. But then an artisan pizza shop doesn't sell gasoline!

So listen, I pulled into Cowboy Car Wash expecting the usual -- overpriced suds, soap that smells like fake coconut regrets, and a dryer that blows harder than a tumbleweed in a dust storm. BUT NO. These folks are the real deal. For about $30, my car went in lookin' like it had just escaped a Mad Max movie, and came out shining like it was ready to valet for James Bond. The whole process was fast, efficient, and dare I say... almost fun? There's this awesome little self-help station (not the kind where you reflect on your life choices -- though maybe after seeing how filthy your mirrors were, you'll want to). It's where you can wipe down your mirrors, detail your interior, and vacuum up that sad trail mix you dropped in 2022. No extra charge, no weird looks. The staff? Super nice. They're like if Chick-fil-A employees moonlighted as car wash cowboys. Polite, quick, and they know what they're doing. Bottom line: For $30, I left feeling like I robbed them. In a good, legal, sparkly way. Would recommend. Would return. Would tip my imaginary cowboy hat.

( has happened on more than one occasion. ) The last time I went, I put in my credit card for wash and was all good, it told me to proceed. I drove into the wash and nothing happened. So I backed out and tried again and nothing. I drove around and tried again and finally left. There was no one there to refund me, I tried to find a phone number for the place, and again nothing. Needless to say, I was out my $10 and left with a dirty car.
