It's up to one to handle it the best they can. Each facility manages their appointments and walk-ins differently than others and that's that. That all being said though, as difficult and painful my experience was, I still believe I got the professional care I needed and appreciate all the time and energy both Samuel(the EMT who saw me before the doctor did) and Dr. John Cary put into me that morning. I wasn't in a good place in so many levels, so I'm sure my interaction with them was stressful on them as much as it was the other way around here and there.. I understand that completely, but I still appreciate the help they provided. I've been to this particular UrgentCare before and honestly, of course all those previous experiences were rough around the edges, but it's the nature of it I feel. You go in, you're uncomfortable, stressed, worried, etc. Others are in similar or entirely different boats as they wait next you, and more variables I'm not mentioning here. He was efficient without ever feeling rushed, listened carefully to my concerns, and was honest and thorough in explaining his assessment and plan. What stood out most was how much he actually carried. Not only did he show concern towards my son during this visit but he followed up the next day to see how he was doing. The staff here are knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate. Darren made a stressful situation, feel manageable and I am grateful for the care he provided.
