It wasn't one big disaster; it was a thousand little things that showed she simply didn't care. Communication: Leading up to the wedding, she ghosted me. I sent ten emails confirming the menu and timeline, and never got a reply. Now I know why. The Schedule: She arrived two hours late. My guests were standing on the terrace in the heat with no water and no food while she was still unloading her truck. The Decor: I paid for gold chargers and navy napkins to match the ocean view. She set the tables with some clam looking chargers and silver napkins. When I asked her about it, she rolled her eyes and said, "It's what I had." The Food: The dinner was embarrassing. We ordered steak, but it was served ice cold and tough as leather. Half my guests didn't even eat. The Staff: The service was chaotic. My aunt started talking to one of the servers, and the poor girl admitted she had never worked a wedding before and didn't know what she was doing. The Bartender: This is the worst part.
