Blew a tire. Driver showed up fairly soon and changed it. When I got new tires the company said the lug nut had been cross threaded by the tow driver. When they texted me for feedback I let them know. I'd avoid this company at all costs. If I had the time and patience I'd file a legal claim. I got a call from an officer and this company claiming my vehicle that had been stolen had been recovered. I asked if I could get photos (as I live in Colorado) and they said they legally can't. I then get a one-way ticket to MO where it is, and get there and he won't show me the bike or the pictures until I pay, I demand to see the photos (thank god) and it is not my bike. The VIN is incorrect. I ask the statute that bars me from receiving pictures of the bike before being in-person and paying and it is suddenly "just a company policy". Good thing I demanded to see the photos and not just give away the $372 that he was demanding. They are by appointment only on saturdays, but wanted to charge me an extra $65 a day to store a bike that was stolen from me (i thought) so I called and asked to set up an appointment for Saturday and was told that you have to call same day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called at 8am when they opened and got told to call back in 15 minutes. I called back and was told I'd get a call shortly with an appointment time. 4 hours pass and I get a call asking if I can get there, I say I can in an hour and they say okay and I start driving.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I arrive at the shop and then wait for 30 minutes outside of the shop for someone to show up to the appointment I made, in the heat, 900 miles from my home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I now am out $500 in plane tickets because they can't read a VIN and the story keeps changing for why they couldn't send me pictures. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not to mention the guy was rude and basically demanded my money before he would do anything when he had the wrong bike and it wasn't even my bike.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very unprofessional, wasted my time and money, and they seem to have not care at ALL about the end user. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a terrible experience with this company, and feel very taken advantage of.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My daughters slid off the road around a curve when the road was wet, colliding against a fence along the side of the road. Thankfully they were unhurt, but in need of a tow. Paul from Finley River Towing came and quoted over $600 to tow 17 miles, which the girls chose not to do, and instead asked for a quote to be towed to the nearest shop, about 3 miles away. He said he couldn't give an exact quote until the job was complete. He was in a hurry, distracted and on his phone the entire time, even while driving, and more concerned with how they would pay. (They were not told that there would be a flat fee for "accident tows" that was unrelated to mileage.) When they arrived at the shop and were given the invoice, it was nearly $500, with surcharges for the equipment used, as well as a fuel surcharge far beyond the mileage driven. The state trooper on the scene had issued no ticket, there was no property damage cited or any injuries, so it seems to me that Finley River Towing used the classification of an accident as leverage to make more money. We run a business, and know the impact of rising costs, especially for small business owners, but will never take advantage of our customers, as we feel this company did to us. read more

These guys are crooks! I have had discutions with several Police and several other tow companies and they all say the same thing. They try and jack up the price so they can basicly steal your car and that is what they are trying to do now to my son. Now we have to get the AG involved and maybe even have to hire an attorney to sue for price gouging since I can get statement from other tow companies that state this and on top of that the owner is buddies with the Sherriff as well so any accident or any tow that is needed in Christian County MO they call this scam artist to come and tow your car. Request another company and tell the officers at the wreck or whatever happened that they are not allowed to touch your car. I recommend anyone else! read more

Called AAA 8/14 at 330pm ish and they dispatched Finley river towing out. Waited about an hour and the driver called and said they don't tow for accidents because AAA doesn't cover it but he'll come out and assess. We called AAA and they said they do cover it. A bald heavy set man showed up and told us again AAA doesn't cover accidents and refused to give us his name but that he'd could do it for $450-$500 in cash. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He was on the phone with his boss and When we tried to say no that was incorrect his boss said "oh if they're going to talk to you like that get out of there now"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]we called AAA and they apologized for the service and dispatched someone else out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you need to go through AAA ask for them to not use Finley River Towing because they're trying to scam people for cash. Please beware and know your AAA policies. Know your mileage and know what your plan covers. Don't get taken advantage of by scamming businesses like Finley River Towing. C. read more

Was lied to face. Called on Friday night and was told that car can not be released over the weekend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came on Monday and this wonderful gentlemen told me he never told me that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He told me I can talk about fine with manager on Monday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And said they never negotiate price when we arrived to get the car. needless to say, they charged me for weekend days. My car wouldn't start and Finley River towing was dispatched via AAA. I was really impressed with how quick and professional the response was. Not just the office but the driver that responded, Chevy. He was on-site quicker than estimated and after starting my car took the time to explain what he believed the issue was. I took my car to my usual shop and they determined the problem was exactly what Chevy said it was. Bottom line I was impressed and definitely would recommend them in the future. read more

DO NOT USE! Our truck was towed by this company because of an accident. The company was instructed by the insurance company to hold in their lot until the body shop we are using is open on Monday. The towing company has a body shop on location and is refusing to tow our truck to the correct repair shop because they are wanting to do the repairs. Our truck is being held and the owner of the tow company refuses to tow our truck to the repair shop who is authorized to do repairs. Almost 2 days since the accident and still fighting with the company to send our truck to repair shop, per instructions from insurance and us. DON'T USE!! read more

Finley River Towing showed up for us in a great way and got us to the tire shop we needed in a timely manner. Dustin, the driver, was extremely helpful. AAA had a estimated time of arrival of 2 hours and 20 minutes. When Finley River heard that I needed to make it to the tire shop, they showed up within 30 miinutes. Thanks for the help! read more

I call BS on your towing methods. Telling the customer after a wreck that if you tow to your personal yard, you will bill insurance, then bill insurance again when you want it towed somewhere else to get fixed, but then price gouge when you want it towed straight to a body shop and tell the customer that the insurance company won't pay you so the person has to pay up front. What type of crap are you pulling here. Luckily, there are recourses for companies like yours. The Attorney General of Missouri will be contacted over this as well as the BBB of Missouri. You should be ashamed of yourselves for such BSery. read more

Completely incompetent drivers! They showed up at my father's house to hook his car up for a repossession without even checking the VIN number to see if they had the correct vehicle. Which to be completely clear, my father's vehicle was not the vehicle they were searching for! My father just had surgery Wednesday and had to explain to the guy how to do his own job!
