I was able to try an ice cream flavored with their local Sour Orange used in cochinita pabil, and my wife was able to try their take on a local pumpkin and even a local mushroom! All flavors exceeded my expectations and made me wish I returned each day to try a new flavor. He showed me what the fruit looked like and described them well. I chose the Mamey and it was excellent! They're popular - most of the tables were occupied when we stopped by. Given the climate and heat and humidity, it totally made sense. The in-laws enjoyed their sweet and cold treats for sure. The staff were very nice not just to us but to all their guests, making sure everyone got what they needed. They also got everyone's goodies out fast, so the wait wasn't bad at all.
