A year and a half ago, I was hit from behind by a young girl and her boyfriend (they were arguing) she tried to run off, and long story short she was crying and begging me not to call the cops or her Insurance. I decided to call the insurance and hire a lawyer after she tried to lie and say I backed up into her vehicle. My biggest mistake was reaching out to the law offices of Mauro Fiore. At first it seemed legit, I talked to a man named "Hector" for 5/6 months after my accident (who often apologized for not returning my calls, being busy etc.) after I was done with hector, he said my case would be settled and I would be done after I talk to finance / a man named "Albert". He said if it wasn't settled by one month that someone wasn't doing their job and dragging their feet. I called albert so many times, and the girls at the office just say "I have left him a message, I'm sorry I don't know what to do." The next day "he's at lunch. I'm sorry, hasn't called you back." like, are you kidding???? There is no one to get a hold of if you need to find out anything out/what is taking so long. Its pathetic, and not worth the hassle to come here. ****My accident was January 2019 and here we are in APRIL 2020!!!!!!***** Do yourself a favor and please go elsewhere/ to a place who values their customers and won't leave you hanging for a year and a half. Positive: quick to serve even over the holiday weekend. Reached settlement rather quickly within months at an amount I was pretty happy with (if I ignore the fact that the amount did not include paying the Chiropracter who got completely stiffed by them). Negative: after they serve, they disappear, they don't answer any emails or telephone calls. They didn't pay my Chiro who did three months of service via an attorney lien for them. That's completely dishonest. I will not refer people here. Also zero prep before the deposition. there's nothing worse than having an attorney office completely unresponsive. Run far away from this place! I found this guy when I randomly searched for a personal injury attorney after my car accident in March of 2020. I was always getting the run around. No one would ever return my calls to give me an update. Months later I was told that I wouldn't be getting much from the insurance and that I would need to go after the owners of the truck that hit me. I gave the okay. After that, I was in contact with many different people from the office who had no idea what was going on. This went on for months! Only one lady ever gave me an update and all she would say is that "it's with the court" and that I needed to wait. Fast forward to a whole year later and I get a call saying that they are dropping my case. When I went to pick up the case file, I was told that nothing was ever started so whoever the lady was, lied to me for months!!! I ended up reporting this office to the bar and going to a different attorney who got me way more $$ than ever expected!
