They came out one day in January after giving us an initial estimate and looked at the tree. Not 30 minutes after they arrived, they changed the estimate, added $300, and told us it would take two days. They cut up one large limb that fell, trimmed a few lower branches, and then left because their climber was sick. They cancelled the next day, and never rescheduled. They came to our property one time after that, without much prior warning (other than a text 20 minutes before), while we were out of town. That was the one time we had to cancel, because we were not home. Not to mention the multiple calls after they arrived at our house, while we were in a welcome home ceremony for my husbands brother that had been deployed. Then, one day a MONTH later, told us they needed $750 for work they have done, due to needing to pay their insurance and that their climber broke his leg on another job. Unprofessional texts were sent asking us for the money, with awful grammar, might I add. They told us they could not finish the work without it. They were argumentative, stating that they needed to come get the money while they "had a ride". We should not have been so trusting of them, because they did not reach out again and are gone with the wind, along with our money. When my husband reached out, she sent him a message saying they had closed. We gave them money in February and it is now April and we have a full tree still standing and we paid 40% of the estimate. We chose J&J over another company because they could get us in faster, and the other company could not get us in until March. It is a shame we did not go with that company, because this "2 day" job with J&J Tree Company is still not finished, and it has been 72 days. I've added the before and after pictures, you can decide for yourself if 1.) you can even tell work has been done and 2.) the work would be worth $750.
