On multiple occasions, I observed behavior that made me feel unsafe, including seeing this individual near the 15th Street NE freeway exits in ways that felt inappropriate. I also felt that organizations we are both affiliated with, including the LDS church and the Lakota DAR chapter, were involved in conduct that came across as racially motivated psychological harassment. Overall, I'm disappointed in what feels like a betrayal of trust including a failure for accountability and transparency from local leadership at this location.

I unfortunately witnessed someone in dire need of medical care and resuscitation. When called they were first on the scene and worked very hard to help stabilize this person who needed help. It wasn't a pleasant scene, but it was great seeing in person these brave first responders in action. No Rescue me or Ladder 49 here. A real-life spring into action to help secure a scene, oust the fire and help the victim. When I saw SFD FF, I waved, and he gave a thumbs up as the truck headed back to the station. Stay safe out there and do your part to prevent wildfires or any kind of fire for that matter. Don't want to sound the PSA alarms but doing our part can make sure SFD can do their thing top notch. She reached out to friends around the country to ask for shirts from firehouses for her son's birthday. I was in the Seattle area and wanted to try to get a shirt from here also. I stopped by the station. The first time, they were on calls. I tried another station but got caught up in traffic. Today I stopped back at Station 45. Jim answered the door and I told him what I was trying to do. While they didn't have any shirts there, he made some calls then took my name and number. He told me he was going to try to make it happen. A few hours later, I got a call from Mike. He had located a shirt for me in Kent Station 71. I went to the station and the men there helped me to find exactly what I was looking for. I'm stunned and amazed how everyone went out of their way to help me and a teenager they would never meet - he lives a long ways away. You guys made my day! Thank you!

Both ladies I've worked with have responded quickly with full information and have always been polite. They've answered my questions fully and understood what I was looking for. It's easy to book a park with the city. Filling out a form you can find online is the first step then emailing it in to them for consideration with the dates and locations you want is next. Some parks are so popular in the few warm months we have here that the city has a lottery of who gets to have the weekends first, so plan in advance. Prices are really inexpensive. There are extra fees if you want to add any vendors, bouncy houses, etc. No alcohol or amplified sound is allowed.

I've noticed the Northwest side of the entrance (aprox 100 yards long ) was getting overgrown with weeds and tall grass making it rather unsightly. I called the City's street dept and spoke to a very pleasant lady (sorry, I forgot her name ) hoping to have them clean it up.
