Had Fire Risk Management come out and cut down 4 trees and trim back multiple trees to provide greater than 10' from the roof and chimney per fire code. They hauled away all branches and debris. The cut down trees were cut to firewood length and stacked on my property. The whole process from providing a quote to scheduling and performing the work was as smooth as it could possibly be. My pine had a big crack from a lightning strike, it also had a good lean towards my house, and was only a few feet from the house. Sounds like a challenging removal, right? We have a large tree in our yard, every time we get big winds, good sized branches break off. We weren't sure if the tree was healthy or what. Oscar came out to take a look and recommended removal of the dead branches. I needed a very large (~90ft) pine removed from the back yard and there was absolutely no room for even the slightest error between neighboring properties so I definitely needed a pro. I've never had to call an arborist before, but suggestions led me to FRM. Oscar checked out the job right away and put me on his calendar - his crew stays busy but he squeezed me into the schedule after a slight adjustment. The day of the task he arrived with a crew and they got to work immediately. Oscar explained how he'd tackle the tree, removing the limbs from bottom to top and then bringing down the trunk from top to bottom. I wanted the trunk in long lengths for a project and Oscar did his best to accommodate me. All of the tree limbs that were large enough were diced into firewood. The smaller branches, twigs, needles and cones were all raked and removed by the crew - they even used a leaf blower on the driveway. Mind you, I thought I'd have to clean up after the tree was down - I didn't mind being wrong! The tree felling itself was as spectacular as it was methodical. Oscar and his team worked efficiently and professionally. They really hustled the whole time and when things were especially delicate they all got engaged, paid close attention and took their time. Got another one of those dreaded Abatement Notices and had to have it done by last Friday. I live 3 hours away. Though incredibly busy, Oscar promised me a fair estimate and job completion by the County's deadline one day away. He came through with both, and I really appreciated his fitting me in and sticking with his quote though he found there to be more work than anticipated. He sent me photos and I have to say that it was the best clearing of my lot ever....and I have had to abate annually (sometimes more) for over 30 years.
