We had an order of four sandwiches but I only got three and I can't eat pastrami and mine was a roast beef sandwich, which I absolutely love. ! I'd like to get chips and since my sandwich is 12 inches it makes two meals and so I order two lays plain potato chips, but they send me different types of chips and I guess that's all they have on hand I don't know, but I don't like that but their sandwiches are delicious! Went back this evening to this location after not going over a year or more due to inaccuracy of not getting subs made correctly Even after asking and making sure they understood that I wanted my subs fully involved, which is all the toppings The older gentleman making the sub assured me he would make them correct! Due to the friendliness and great customer service I even left the highest tip But got home to discover there was nothing on the subs. Haven't had firehouse subs in years and wow this was delicious!!! My Hook and Ladder had so much flavor and I absolutely love how thinly they slice the meat. The meatball sub was also great especially being a chain sub place. Side note: we ordered this through uber eats it came fast, fresh, and hot. We will definitely be repeat customers. read more

We were next door at one of the medical buildings for an appointment and I saw that there was a deal going on for leap year. Anyone with a first name starting with L, E, A, or P got a free sandwich with purchase of another. It was right next door so we stopped by afterwards. I had the meatball and I have to say when I'm craving a good meatball sub, Firehouse comes through. There's not a lot of non-chain sub shops around so I appreciate when I can get a sub that's stuffed all the way like they do here. We took it to go but hung out while they were making our ores and the place is spotlessly clean and the workers were on their game. We have to go back in a couple weeks and I'm already thinking meatballs are on the docket for that visit too. read more

Deli subs that are fresh and packed with lots of cold cuts! My favorite is their Hook and Ladder sandwich. The Mac and Cheese is also very good! It's hit or miss on the workers being friendly or not at this location. Also, they can be very slow, so I wouldn't chose here if I was in a hurry during a busy hour. Slow is a understatement after a long day traveling dealing with cancellations and delays I just wanted to grab something to eat and take it back to the hotel so I stop in there are 4 people sitting at one table eating and me so I am thinking this will be quick. WRONG... stood at the counter for 5 minutes made eye contact with 4 different workers and nothing finally some space cadet comes over and takes my order. Because the last two times I bought food at this location, they messed up my simple order: 12" steak and cheese on wheat, everything on it, with mushrooms. Firehouse subs are very good and always fresh. The sub rolls are fresh and very tasty. We enjoy that they also offer wheat rolls. The clerks are friendly and very attentive. We always feel welcome with a friendly Hello. I love the Italian with wheat roll. We will continue eating at this restaurant. read more

What is it with this chain having iffy management? This location was cleaner than the last, but the cashier couldn't listen ("I'd like a large steamer to go." "Will that be to go?" this went on like a Marx Brothers routine) and then rang my single sub with add-ons as a single plain sub and a second sub of the same kind, with add-ons. Really? You've got one job--enter the order--and you can't get it right. Then the sandwich maker makes the sandwich with the wrong topping smeared on the bread. He sees me see him trying to scrape it off, ends up throwing away the roll to make a new one the right way. Props for doing the right thing, but I'm not sure if the remake would have happened if he hadn't seen me watching. I've noticed that Firehouse has high counters that make it hard to watch, unlike the clear glass at Subway. Friendly people here, and at least this location near Trident Hospital was clean, but the staff is slow and incompetent. I see they're hiring. I blame management. read more
