I met some wonderful people there; the Pastor is TOP NOTCH. He and his Assistant Pastor Bro. Hebert has love for everyone. They Preach from King James Bible and they also Teach Torah. I would go back in a heartbeat, but I no longer live close to the Church. Don't be afraid of change. You will see TRUE WORSHIPPERS there and you will have to understand why they do what they do. Be open to change and what they teach, they can't change how you live, but only your convictions can truly change you. Be real with yourself and your walk with God. Music is BEAUTIFUL and will touch your soul. The Preaching will make you look deep into your own self, and that is where you will make the changes to walk alongside with God. God did not leave you, He is there with you. Church is not for everyone, and some preaching will not be for everyone take that leap of Faith and you will see if you fit in. But with my own opinion, I LOVE this Church and Gods Children. I will say hi and shake their hands if I have ever ran into them in town. There is only two Pastors that I will talk GREAT of. Brother Pitre and Brother Randall (passed away a few years ago) but he was my very first Apostolic Pastor. Don't let anyone discourage you into avoiding what your Spirit needs. No one has the same advice, good or bad. But if it doesn't work for them it doesn't mean it will not be great for you. Knowing God will change your life and Bro. Pitre and the Ministry is there to give you Gods Word.

If you love the feel of Old Time Religion, True Religion, True Move of God this is the Church for you. I am not sure who is the pastor as of now, but I am for sure that if you was to go here you will fall in Love with God and His People. Old Time Religion is for me and it is the way to live for God and to fall in Love with God, DAILY.

I had attended a wedding here recently and came away super impressed. First of all this cathedral is massive. The seating capacity well exceeds the usual several hundred and may bleed into the quadruple digits. The seats are spacious and the pews are relatively comfortable. There is an adjoining space that is used as a gathering hall across the parking lot. As big as this place is, the parking is quite limited. Like most things down South, it's really old. We're talking practically 200 years old (1821) and still well maintained and as iconic as ever. Any older and it may precede the Louisiana Purchase (#2). and situated in the middle of downtown Lafayette is pretty incredible. I would venture for anyone in the Lafayette area to host their Catholic celebrations here. Combined with the catering hall next door, it is a fantastic space and ideal for all occasions. __________ (#1) I should have known better, it's the South. (#2) Which happened in 1803.
