I needed a solution. I had done some research and found that eating local honey and bee pollen would help build tolerance to lessen the allergic reaction. I needed to find some bee pollen before Spring. Thankfully I was able to find Boernsen Bees. They are a local honey/bee business in Iowa. I was grateful that they had a website where I found that they sold bee pollen! Bee pollen was not always available at other businesses I found so it was a pleasant surprise. I chose them over other local Iowa businesses because their shipping costs were much more reasonable. I ordered raw unstrained honey which I've never tried and its delicious! The bee pollen tasted sweet just like honey! I also ordered the bees wax lotion in lavender and it is very moisturizing and smells wonderful. I haven't yet tried the strawberry honey sticks but I'm sure it will be great. I will definitely be ordering from Boernsen Bees again and hope to one day visit them in person. Thank you Boernsen Bees for raising bees and keeping them happy. I can tell you do great work because the honey your bees produced tastes great!

However, the experience has been so awful, and being as I have to live with the disaster of a haircut, fair is fair. Short of naming names: do NOT go the male hairstylist! My first two visits to him were not stellar but nothing on the verge of catastrophe as the final one. Things you do NOT want to hear from a stylist, all said to me during this ordeal by the stylist: 1. I think people will be able to figure out what it is supposed to look like 2. I'm sorry I got your bangs so short; one client of mine calls this the 'horse chewed them off look' And as he was attempting to fix the disaster he created... 3. Have you ever thought of a perm? It cost me a pretty penny with a correctional stylist to fix this mess. When I told her he didn't wet my hair prior to cutting but soaked it with thermal spray and flat ironed it to a hissing steam she was aghast. Like I said, do NOT go to the male stylist unless you want the horse chewed, bedraggled, cut by a weed eater, and singed by the campfire look.
