We have been at FBCS since PreK-3 for my oldest daughter who will be entering 8th grade this upcoming school year. Additionally, I have a second daughter who began there this past year in PreK-3. The school had an amazing family-friendly atmosphere! We have made life-long friends here. Though enrollment continues to grow, we are still able to keep the tight knit community. The teachers are amazing, care about our children, and their academic careers. The church and their members are huge supporters of our school​. Of course the church welcomes the students and their families to attend their. Church and become members, but it is not required and they aren't pushy about the topic as some other churches/schools are. The reasons we have continued to stay at FBCS are primarily for the biblical foundation that we want for our children and it is absolutely provided, as well as the relationships. The curriculum appears to be ahead of public school, and they have done a great job over the last few years in growing the athletics programs. However, they have not lost sight like other schools who eventually allow their main goal to be headhunting the best athletes. There goal continues to be to provide that biblical foundation, while teaching and nurturing our children. Since the school goes to 12th grade, we plan to stay for both children until they graduate. First Baptist Christian School has truly been a blessing for our family. The academics are strong and well-rounded, and I love how much emphasis is placed on hands-on projects that keep students engaged and excited about learning. My girls have built such meaningful friendships here, which has made their experience even more special. There are so many opportunities for students to get involved, from a wide variety of clubs to sports, allowing each child to explore their interests and grow in confidence. The teachers are incredibly kind and genuinely care about my children, not just academically, but personally as well. It's clear they love what they do. We have been at FBCS since Pre-K3 (7yrs) and it has been a blessing. FBCS has exceeded all our expectations, both academically and personally. I am a teacher at First Baptist Christian School and both of my kids have attended school here and one still does. This school has been great for both of my kids and for me as well.
