I used this branch sporadically in the last 6 years as the homes we built and sold were just a 2 minute drive south. Service at this branch has always been weird and up and down, more down. The one highlight - Friday 09/19/25 - they had the managers and greeters( 3 total) by the door greeting everyone with enthusiasm and trying to have conversations hoping to show people skills. Today - back to reality - I have been with Chase for 37 years - two accounts and a large locker at another branch in Nassau county. The cashier Althea( spelling) busted my coglioni for three minutes just for asking for change for $200( not a withdrawl- I handed her 2 hundred dollar bills). I gave my ID, my memorized account number and yet the angry lady kept looking at my license for a while, then checking my accounts, then the license. She actually did not place the license in the little space under the glass. She flung it! A lady supervisor chimed in when I stated " never happened before in almost 40 years" and stated it was always policy. Then the icing - I verbally asked for 10 ten dollar bills and 5 twenty dollar bills. She said she forgot and if I could write it. I did and she still messed up. I thought about going to the Branch Manager who was sitting in his cubicle and seeing and hearing all this but decided against it! Just smiled and waved! Not going to let 2 morons mess with my magnificent day and pretty awesome week. I don't know if anyone from Chase reads this or even cares. Some of the personnel at this branch need a serious retrain. Lesson for me - go to a different and familiar branch.

Tellers are mostly fine when they are not in training although they take forever for a simple deposit. But the " important people behind the desks"- Totally Incompetent. Kimberly has no idea what she is doing and her manager Maria is no better. Go to Glen Head where they are fantastic. I would avoid dealing with them if not for the fact that they are the ones safe deposit boxes. Horror show. Stay away

Forget it, unless you can do it at the ATM. Want drive up service? You better go to McDonalds, because this window is closed. They let their Citi ATM in 7-11 get hacked with a skimmer and then when people came in to complain, Citi was draconian about returning the stolen money: "transaction within normal patterns" - like some kind of robot. RUN to another bank. High fees, terrible customer service, inept machine-like corporate management.

I try to avoid physical banking since everything is done online or app but sometimes the app throws an error when I try to deposit a check. That's not the branches problem at all but the customer service here is lacking. Last week I was the ONLY person standing in line in the middle of the day and there's one teller working drive through and a cranky older woman barking orders at her like she was a dog. Huffing and puffing and complaining about who knows what. Lady, plexiglass window I can see you having a meltdown. Go huff and puff somewhere else it's rude. I know it's hard to smile with masks on but I met her eyes and tried to give her a smile maybe a "hang in there baby!" Smile but she just turned away quickly from me to continue to berate the teller. Whoa. Another time I came to deposit checks and the teller reminded me that I could deposit the checks via the app over 5x. I told her I tried a few times and was unable to that's why I was in the branch and she was insistent that I use the app. "You can just use the app!" "Did you try using the app!?" No I just came here to stretch my legs during a global pandemic, of course I tried the damn app. This is my closest branch so I don't have a choice.

There is always something for her to b* and moan about. I really hate bringing up the negatives of a business, but this needs to be said. She makes it feel so uncomfortable for the client to be there, and I'd rather go to the other branches on the island so I don't have to "inconvenience" her from her job. Most of the time when I visit in person, she is on IG instead of working straight through on the deposits. Two stars, because all of the other staff deserve 5 stars. We always work together well. Originally, I was planning to move some accounts over, but now it seems like a waste if I have to constantly deal with her rudeness. It will be interesting to see, when we automate on their RDC whether she presents a kinder face. No photos because cameras are not permitted in banks. However, this branch is super clean, accessible, bright, and easy to navigate. There is no privacy by the desks flanking the tellers booth, but if you have a private matter to discuss, they have offices at the back along with some public restrooms. Happy banking!

In fact, any issues I had were with FNBLI itself, in spite of Marco being absolutely wonderful. When I started my mortgage application, I didn't hear back from FNBLI for a week, and actually had to email them to get a follow up. The appraisers they hired and the law firm they retained were both fine. But there was definitely more back and forth/confusion than there needed to be. Even still, FNBLI had the best rates I could find, and I cannot recommend Marco enough!
