Elena (I'm sorry if I got this wrong, I am terrible with names!) was a lot of fun to talk to, as well; it seems the art of conversation is something a lot of stylists have lost, but not her. I had gone to another cheaper nail salon and mentioned my ankle and they just ignored it entirely. The ladies at Chic are professional and accommodating. They take a lot of care to make sure you're comfortable and they do a great job. I haven't had hair services here, I mainly have gone for the Aveda Mani/Pedis, they are AMAZING (Lindsay & Meghan are awesome!), I've done the express mani/pedi as well, also great. I've had my brows waxed and a number of elemental facials, all fantastic experiences. The only thing I would say negatively, is that when you're in the back room for a facial, you can hear a lot going on in the salon, so it's not super 'peaceful', but it's still great! I would recommend this salon and spa (and have) to all my family and friends. (I do believe they accept walk-ins, but I always book in advance) - little tip - if you're interested in a Mani/Pedi go to the "Packages" tab on the website and book a "Basics" package, it's an extra couple bucks, but you get an eyebrow wax included. **Update** I have since had my hair styled here for my brothers wedding, they did a great job! As a 1st time client they know how to show you how much you mean to them right off the bat. You will see how all the stylists, assistants and other staff love what they do, where they work and are so much like a family. During non COVID times they treat you with a beverage that you can sip on while they perfect you - even introduced me to my new favorite tea. At the end of that visit, You receive a "gift bag" with all sorts of coupons to use for your next visits - and Yes - you will want to go back! My favorite thing about this Salon is that you can use any stylist (without any unnecessary upset) and still get the same amazing results. Their record keeping is phenomenal and they are always there for each other if there are any questions. I ended up losing a significant amount of length because of the damage, and my hair is still very dry and compromised. The situation was distressing enough that I'm currently exploring my options to address the damage and the cost of repairing it. I expected a much higher level of care and attention during a chemical service. I'm sharing this so other clients are aware and so the salon understands how serious the outcome was for me.

The salon has a cute and modern feel to it from which I learned that the owner's redid themselves! I got my cut from Sochenda who also happens to be the owner of the salon. She's the sweetest! She knew exactly what I wanted which is rare. It was like she could read my mind! Usually it seems like you're on the same page with your new hairstylist and then damage is done and it's too late to turn back. Not with her!!! She was able to give me the cutest bob and without chopping too much of my hair off... so I guess technically it would be a lob (long bob). She even curled my hair afterwards! On top of that, I was in desperate need for products because using my boyfriend's was just not cutting it. Ashley was fully booked but came into work before opening hours to do my hair. So accommodating!! That appointment was the best experience I had ever had with a hairdresser. Not only did she make my hair look amazing, regardless of the horrible shape it was in before, but she was so friendly and hilarious. We had awesome conversation the whole time. I have been seeing Ashley ever since. I now carry around her business cards because I get asked daily who does my hair. She has given me the most amazing platinum blonde, and I always recommend her.
