I narrowed down based on the best reviews possible and the nearest location. I ended up picking this place! I was able to get a consultation and drove by. The place look amazing! Everyone was so nice. They offered some hot tea or coffee to drink if i needed but i was okay. It was sweet of them though! Before i did the hair coloring session, i had to pay a deposit to ensure my spot for the day then when i'm done completely, i pay the remaining amount. I forgot whom i spoke to but i wanted an ash brown balayage. The lady said my hair is too long and dry and probably would cost anywhere near $600+. She suggested i go for a dark caramel brown since if we go for ash brown, it might take two session. My hair inspiration picture was a little lighter so i agreed and went with the hairstylist's idea. We set out the price as $400+ instead since i had a conversation with my mom and we mutually agreed i'd have my hair cut before we do the actual process. I wasn't sure if i'm allergic to any of the hair products they use including the bleach involved. She kindly put some of the bleach on my arm and said if i don't feel any reaction then i'm good, if so, i'd have to call her to let her know. I didn't have reaction, it was good to go. The hair process took about 4-6 hours. We did the bleaching session, which was an hour (i think). The shampoo and conditioner, was just few minutes. After that, we then put the color in and let it rest before we wash that out. It was such a crazy experience to see my color going from black to light blonde for the bleaching part! The hairstylist blowdried and curled my hair. It looked amazing! I find the price quite expensive but it was worth it! I gave her tip as well before leaving the place. My balayaged hair lasted almost 2 years. There was no orange strands which some people did went through when having colored hair, i didn't get it! I was able to wash normally as i would. Otherwise, lovely experience! PS: this happened in 2019 before covid!

What was wonderful too, as I entered and left, all staff (even if busy with other clients) said Hello and Goodbye. -0.5 a point is because the text service is a tad faulty, saying that my appointment had been changed to 2pm, but my appointment was actually for 2pm. Warm welcome ! they follow all the covid rules strictly and all the staff are super friendly splly Susan who made so easy for me in helping me to decide the colour which will look gud on my hair . She also gave me a free bow dry on hair as this was the first visit . I go to the salon like 8-9 times in a year. And she is doing a great job. She gives advice, she listens, always patient and courteous and very professional. She knows what she is doing. I always say that you need to listen to the professionals in their respective fields, they are doing their job every day and know more than anybody else in that field or area of activity. Standing outside in freezing weather, feeling threatened she called me. I went back in with my wife demanding an apology asking a simple question on how can you abuse a customer like that. The owner (brown bearded guy) simply lied. The guy at the counter in pink polo shirt said 'he didn't call your wife a bitch but said don't behave like a bitch'. I was aghast at this explanation. Not once did anyone try to talk it out rationally or exhibit a modest sense of customer service or basic human decency. When I demanded an apology I was almost shoved out. My wife who is one of the most soft spoken people I've ever met is still shaken, never having experienced such abhorrent behaviour in any or all the salons in different countries she has been to. Unfortunately, 911 or non-emergency Halton region hotline 311 doesn't help in cases of verbal abuse or professional misconduct. We will however try and find a channel to hold owners responsible for their actions if we can.
