He's consistent, friendly and uses lovely minty conditioner in my hair... Price & service for a men's haircut is very reasonable. Owner called my wife a 'bitch' when she complained about her hair treatment and asked her to leave. Her hair was half done so she stayed, even paid and left in tears. Standing outside in freezing weather, feeling threatened she called me. I went back in with my wife demanding an apology asking a simple question on how can you abuse a customer like that. The owner (brown bearded guy) simply lied. The guy at the counter in pink polo shirt said 'he didn't call your wife a bitch but said don't behave like a bitch'. I was aghast at this explanation. Not once did anyone try to talk it out rationally or exhibit a modest sense of customer service or basic human decency. When I demanded an apology I was almost shoved out. My wife who is one of the most soft spoken people I've ever met is still shaken, never having experienced such abhorrent behaviour in any or all the salons in different countries she has been to. Unfortunately, 911 or non-emergency Halton region hotline 311 doesn't help in cases of verbal abuse or professional misconduct. We will however try and find a channel to hold owners responsible for their actions if we can. read more

My first visit. Staff was friendly. My appointment was with Jameel. Told him what I wanted. Honestly if took 15 minutes to cut my hair. . I basically went for a wash and dry by Jameel and another staff. Please don't waste your time or money. Very disappointing and $80 dollars wasted. Jameel has no passion at all. Very disappointing experience. My colour was done by the owner - Jameel. I wanted to freshen up my look with subtle natural highlights. I asked for light natural blond with no yellow or ash tones. I ended up with a streaky, "zebra like" highlights and yellow, brassy hair. The toner changed my hair colour from light natural blond to yellow beige. It cost me a fortune to fix the colour ( at another salon). I wish I never went there. Please don't make the same mistake. read more

This is the worst Service I have ever had! My daughter was booked for a cut and style for her Prom and we left with her in tears. Sierra was snotty and rude, she kept trash talking the other staff. Jameel didn't speak to my daughter and did not give her the Hollywood Glam blow dry style hair either. And the worst part? When we said "this was not the style we showed him, and would have to fix it when we got home", Jameel turned and walked away from us! He never offered to have my daughter sit back in his chair to fix it! We left with my daughter in tears and luckily for us, went to Milton BloBlow Dry Bar across the street to have them fix his mistake. Heard this place is an absolute nightmare from multiple sources. I work in customer service and have never heard of a salon being so unprofessional. If your clients are unhappy with your work... (and you are turning people's hair orange) you should be able to 1) compensate them or 2) offer solutions. By no means should you turn your customers away, as it is word of mouth that will keep your business running. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

I've been going to see Jameel for all of my hairstyling needs for several years. Three years ago I moved from Milton to North East Brampton, but still make the drive just to get my hair done. Jameel has always done an amazing job, I'm never worried when I get in his chair, I know that he'll help me get the look that I want! Also love that he's so fast, while still doing a beautiful job. He's taken my hair from long to pixie and back, on my whim and I've loved every cut. I always get tonnes of compliments on each new cut. This will be my salon for any years to come! read more

Terrible hair cut! The technique was amateur. Jameel spent 5 minutes actually cutting my hair and it's all choppy and not blended at all...you can see the steps graduating up. When I told him I wasn't happy with the back (you can see a cut line all the way across) he said it was the colour...but then didn't fix the colour. I asked to keep the length and just clean it up and he took at least 2 inches off. I also asked for bangs, but didn't get those either (I didn't bother to remind him of this as I was afraid of what his 'bangs' might look like). It was an absolutely excellent experience from start to finish - his staff is so professional and welcoming, his attention to detail impeccable, and the quality of cut is outstanding. Great! He was efficient, styled my daughter's difficult hair properly. She was very pleased. Will go back time and time again. My hair, however, I was not as happy as it was overly layered for the very straight texture I have. I didn't like it personally but others said it looked good. Tip: Always be sure to know exactly what kind of style you want and what suits your hair type best. You could be stuck with something you don't necessarily care for for a few months! read more

Worst hair cut ever!!! It looks like I just walked out of one of those cheapie salons. Jameel didn't bother to texturize my hair. A brief 15 minutes and that was it. Save your money and find a real stylist. read more

Save your money or go elsewhere! I spent over $300 to get balayage, cut and Olaplex treatment. The colour was done incorrectly. Hair looked like it was dipped in a brassy orange and yellow dye. Didn't look natural at all. Called the next day to have it corrected. They get 1 star because they offered to correct it without any hassle. Problem is that after it was corrected I looked like a tiger - picture late 90s thick streaks. In the end I had to go elsewhere. Paid another stylist to fix my colour - which was done without any issues. Even the cut had to be re-trimmed (was not even). I'm not a high maintenance individual at all. Had natural hair for 10yrs and he ruined it. That was the consensus from a few friends that saw my hair. I did make a few attempts to let them know, however, being unprofessional they made no effort to contact me back. What a disappointing experience... so much so that I downloaded the YELP app to give this review. Do not take your chances. Please note: they are opening a location in Oakville - so I would stay clear. Best of luck. read more

I started going to Jameel De Stefano salon when Nancy started working there. Great Salon, very friendly. All the staff make you feel welcome and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. Love the location of salon and love the fact they have promos and make up application available. Love the fact that they personalize service with a reminder call of your appointment. Overall, i am very relaxed and happy with services offered and Nancy my stylist is wonderful as all the staff at Jameel De Stefano. Way to go!!! read more

went for highlights...Jameel suggested balayage. I knew the cost of highlights...didn't bother to ask price for balayage but assumed it would be around the same price thinking if it was more, he would have the courtesy to let me know. Balayage came out okay..didn't love it but didn't hate it...a bit lighter than what I requested. When the receptionist told me the total... $220...I was flabbergasted! The woman that was paying ahead of me also complained that her services were expensive. I live in Milton...usually got my hair colored in Toronto but wanted something closer and more economical. Ironically, I pay $180 for the highlights in the Toronto salon and I definitely liked the color more. In addition, Jameel was nice...but my only complaint was that I was booked at the same time as two other appt he had...so his attention to me wasn't there. I felt a bit rushed...Erhard because I was new to the salon. I could see he had a great relationship with the other person booked at the same time so I can see why he is popular...just not for me. read more
