They got back to me asap and made sure to…read moretext me a couple of times stating I missed the call even though it had only been a few minutes. I should've noticed a red flag there. Went to view the apartment that they said was clean..it was filthy and smelled awful..the previous tenants still had belongings in there. I tripped over a few things and my 10 year old tripped and fell over a cat dish that we didn't see because there was just so much stuff everywhere on the floors! The stairs to get down to the apartment on the inside had no railing and dangerous especially for children. I noticed the ceiling which needed to be fixed and asked if they would fix that and the property manager shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know" went into the bathroom and there was no door that worked properly..sliding barn doors that weren't working properly and falling off the hinges or whatever it's called (the top sliding part) she didn't say that would be fixed either..the bedrooms were tiny and had drawings on the brick wall which again, wouldn't be cleaned before move in. The walls were dirty..floors were dirty..I mean this should've never been shown to a potential renter! I waited over an HOUR for the property manager to show up to our SCHEDULED apartment viewing. Then I had to wait longer while she spoke with a tenant because the tenants 2 small children almost drown in the pond that really should be fenced in or taken care of in some way! The deck/balcony wood was weak to say the least. I left with an application and let the property manager know I would send it to her along with all of my information within a couple of days. She texted me not even 2 hours later "waiting on info" I sent EVERYTHING including everyone's personal information the next afternoon. About an hour and a half later I get a text "do u have move in money" which I stated "almost all of it" then I heard nothing back. I called the office and got no response so I texted on Facebook messenger because that's how I originally was able to get ahold of them and asked for an update on my application status and next thing I see is that I was BLOCKED!! no explanation or anything and I would love for someone to say none of this happened because I have all of the proof!! Well, I ended up being able to come up with the rest of the move in money but now it will be going toward a company that actually responds and doesn't just block you for no reason! FYI..I pay my bills on time and take great care of what's mine..I would've been a great tenant but oh well..everyone says I dodged a bullet and that's coming from previous tenants and current as well. Also, they never called my references or checked my rental history.. I absolutely know there was no reason to BLOCK me except the fact I didn't have the money right then and there fully! VERY unprofessional and rude tbh..be cautious because now this woman has mine and my children's personal information and I'm definitely worried about it!! Previous tenants have also complained about leaky ceilings, mold, neglect, dangerous things that need repaired which the company ignores, and more. I have the texts and pictures from current and previous tenants..PLEASE think twice before moving here because Manthri Properties or at least the ones in Coldwater and Union City, have proven to be unprofessional, rude, neglectful, and just honestly don't care..
