I think I was searching renovation when frankly the job I wanted was demolition. He had an opening and a crew, I had a flexible schedule, so he came and removed the basement. Fair price, courteous and polite, removed what I wanted. Frequent check ins. On time. What more could you ask for? Turns out I probably have another project for him... we ran out of time and steam last week, but I'm calling him again. Edit: Called him again. This time for a deck and raised garden. I hate to say I probably have more projects for him...it just sorta piled up. Anyway, did a great job! Highly recommend.

Arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, but they called first to see if it was okay (it was). They asked the right questions about what goes where, what gets thrown out and what gets saved. Basement was in a major (bad) state, and this was the first step in getting it cleaned out. And being an old guy, I couldn't do it myself. They did an excellent job all around. When they explained why they couldn't move out one large piece (a work bench that they said had been assembled in the basement) they offered to move it out of the way so the cleaners would be able to work efficiently. They did everything right. They did it efficiently and effectively and courteously. They were helpful, and understanding, and very very careful with the stuff I needed to save (for family/memories). I would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact, I may need to call them again next year to move some stuff out of the UPstairs! Hire these folks. You won't be sorry. In fact, you'll be very pleased. p.s. While Fire Dawgs did a great job, the folks at PODS, who were supposed to send a container to store my stuff while the basement was being cleaned, "rescheduled" at the last minute to the next day.
