After visiting to make a deposit, I can confirm that it is a real location of the Credit Union. A small converted house, this branch epitomizes the ethos of this credit union as a frugal banking option. I like them better than a traditional bank for a lot of things and encourage everyone to check out whether credit unions can work for them. That said, there are downsides of Coastal and this location. You don't interact with a live bank teller, but rather a fancy ATM. You can use it like a normal ATM or video conference with a live teller on the screen. You can still perform normal banking functions including getting cashier checks, etc. but you won't have that face-to-face that some institutions offer. There are only one ATM (and, this, teller) inside and one outside here so not a huge location, but very few customers so you'll likely not have to wait long.

coastal credit union is one of the most crooked banks iv'e ever dealt with. i sold my car and by…read morethe time it was finalized i had over payed a payment and their keeping it saying it was interest accumalated. i happen to do finance for a car co so i kind of know how it works. these people were horrible during covid, i asked for help from no one and suited up and showed up everyday during pandemic and these heartless people were ruthless. i will walk before i ever use this bank again. sorry i met them and sorry i did business with them. p.s will be closing my savings too.
