First Class Cleaners are first class in our family! Three years. We've been going here for three years already! Basically I remember walking in the front door once. A pretty non-descript cleaners. Now, we use the drive thru service. You heard that right...they have a drive thru service and we use it every time!! Dropping off and picking up. It's fabulous! So here's why First Class Cleaners gets that fifth star from me. It's Easter weekend and my son is being confirmed. We had dropped a dress shirt off to be cleaned and pressed for him. On the day of his confirmation, I drive up to pick up his shirt and hand over my debit card. Oops! We were not over the minimum limit to use the debit card. The owner pleasantly handed over the shirt anyhow and wished me a happy day. Fast forward about three weeks when I'm back to pick up one shirt and this time I'm prepared with cash. I pay for the one and offer to pay for the previous shirt. No worries. That's classy. I didn't expect that, but I sure did appreciate it. I don't often carry any cash at all for you would-be thieves out there. But I had my $2 ready to go that time. So bring cash for those small pick ups and use the drive thru. WAAAAYYY over priced and they do not take responsibility for damaged clothing. On several occasions I have dropped off clothes to be cleaned because they are so close to my house, and I've been given the receipt and the lady tries to jack up the prices on me. I've gotten in many arguments with the owner about her scamming me like that. She'll give me a receipt for $20 for 4 articles of clothing and when I pick them up it's $25. That is absurd! The last straw with them was I dropped off a very expensive down jacket of mine that had a rhinestone zipper, when I got it back the zipper pull was broken..I marched right back in and told her that my zipper was not damaged like this when I dropped it off two days ago because I literally took it right off my body to give to her..and she told me there was nothing in the washer they put it in. I was furious!!!!! I demanded that she fix it at no cost to me or I was going to report her to the Better Business Bureau. She told me there was nothing she could do but replace the whole zipper and that could take months for her to find a zipper like the one I had..I didn't care, I wanted it fixed. It has been 1 full year since I dropped that jacket off and she STILL has not found a zipper to replace the one that was damaged, and when I asked for my jacket back she told me it was at her house and she will bring it for me to pick up tomorrow. I'm getting that jacket back and reporting her to the Better Business Bureau. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!! read more

It took about five years of us living in Bartlett before we found a cleaners that we liked, did a great job, didn't go overboard on the chemicals so that our clothes smelled horrible. The owner is very nice and friendly - friendlier than most of the other cleaners we've been to in the area. I especially love that they have a drive up which comes in very handy when I have the kids in the car. I actually did not find them over-priced at all - and pretty much in line with the other area cleaners. They have very generous coupons as well which they always let me use if I mention (and forget to bring it.) read more

If I could give this place negative reviews I would. I brought them two formal evening gowns. One was plain black with nothing on it. The other a emerald green color with pewter and gold stones across the collarbone. I went to retrieve the dress in which stones were missing and threads were hanging off the sleeve. I asked her what happened to the top and she told me that she had originally told me they would fall off. I looked at her puzzled because I'm not sure why someone would voluntarily give a dress to a cleaners if they gave them that sort of a warning. She told me to come back the following day so that she could fix it in which I told her no I'd rather fix it myself because I have a background in design and apparel construction and have done beadwork on many many expensive gowns. At this point she grins and would not give me my dress back. I finally get both my dresses back and ask for the stones that fell off so that I could sew them back on myself. She proceeds to give me one stone back in which I laugh because they're are clearly more than one stone missing on the dress. I did mention that I would go and repurchase the dress again and they would be responsible for reimbursing me the cost for something that is clearly their fault. My mother was the one to purchase the dress as a gift to me to wear to an event and was upset to hear the dress ended up the way it did so she called to see if she could straighten out the situation. Turns out the lady giggled over the phone when my mother explained the situation. Though at the end of it did agree to pay $200 to compensate me for it. Save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere for your dry cleaning needs. I'm not sure how this place stays in business if that's how they treat their customers by laughing at them. read more
