We worked as our own contractor, so we were a little apprehensive about how this process would go. Lakeside's pricing was competitive and we worked with the designer, Josh. He was amazing-patient, creative, and helped us stay within our desired price point. He also was great at helping us obtain what we wanted, but in ways that would work practically. As you can see, the attention to detail and craftsmanship is incomparable. From designing to install, this process was so smooth, we could hardly believe it. Woof. My worst nightmare started about 1 year ago when Roger Lind showed up. He was hired to supply…read morecabinets for 2 bathroom vanities and a full kitchen cabinets of uppers, lowers, and island. This monster is terrible and isn't qualified to shovel snow. Where to start? He begins his day up in Princeton and leaves at 8am to show up at 10am. Then leaves at 3pm to be home by 5pm. A few smoke breaks and lunch in-between and you can see why nothing gets done. This project drug on for weeks before we kicked him to the curb. What else you ask? Well- his installer is more of a bobcat operator- not really somebody you want doing detail cabinet work. How about the fact that they decided to cover their mistakes by painting the inside of the melamine cabinets? Which is already a finished surface. What else? Well- because it was painted cabinets they figured that the best way to cover up their incompetence is to fill 1/2" gaps with smears of putty and filler. That cant be it right? No- of course not. Many things were delivered wrong and finally his supplier just cut him off for not paying his bill leaving the project unfinished. Why did we choose to go with Roger in the first place? Well i felt sorry for the guy---my mistake. He is a cripple and it appeared that he was qualified- so I thought i could help by letting him have the $25,000 job. He was just as expensive as the other bids. However- it turns out that he deserves to be a cripple and clearly karma has been following him for quite some time. Let this old man fade into the dustbin of history. Of course im leaving out so many more details... but really i could go on for paragraphs describing all the little things that are dumb. In the end just know that i uninstalled everything and threw it in a 20yd dumpster- it wasn't even good enough to be used in my shed to store tools.

Avoid this company at all costs. I purchased brand new encore line kitchen cabinets from them…read more(their so called premium line) and came cracked and wouldn't honor their warranty and take responsibility! They said hairline cracks are to be expected! Are you serious? This is what they sent me with the highlights in their book from the paint section! Talk about hidden agenda! Shame on them! Look at the pictures yourself guys! I have email and all, I'll share it here if only there wasn't any personal info there. Expect your cabinets to have cracks on them, it's to be expected guys! Run while you can!
