After having three kids and saving for years, I finally decided to get a tummy tuck in August 2025. I paid $8,700 expecting a quality result, but I'm extremely disappointed. To this day, my stomach is still bulging, and it's clear the muscle repair was not done properly. My belly button looks unnatural--almost like a coin--and the hip-to-hip scar isn't even placed low enough to be hidden under underwear, which was one of my main concerns going in. At my follow-up, I was told I could get a revision after six months since my stomach was still large. I was initially told I'd only need to cover the anesthesia fee, which I was willing to do. However, when I received the actual quote, they added an additional operating room fee, bringing the total to $2,900. That's on top of the $8,700 I already paid. This is where it really feels wrong--there were no complications like infection or wound issues. The issue is simply that the surgery was not done thoroughly enough, yet I'm being asked to pay again to fix it. That doesn't sit right. Overall, the experience feels very transactional, with little concern for patient satisfaction or accountability. At this point, it honestly feels like a scam. You will get terrible results. Just know Board Certified means nothing. If Dr C K can't do something as simple as breast augmentation right I just can't imagine him doing a rhinoplasty. He literary butchered my nose. When I went in to take the cast off my nose he yanked the cast so hard he ripped the skin off my nose. I had to deal with infections on my nose for a very long time. I was so sad and angry. I had an awful results with butchered nose. Now I have an uneven unflattering nose 10X worse than before. He did a terrible job. He tried to even my nose by injecting it with fillers I believe but it eventually dissolved and my nose went back to being uneven again. And he never fixed the tip of my nose either. I'm terrified to go and see other surgeons bc of my terrible experience with him. Imagine hating your nose x10 more than before. So sad and disappointing. We all want things to be perfect the first time, but there is no cookie cutter one size fits all, we are different ages, skin textures, body chemistry. We don't all heal the same ,nor respond the same to medications. I understand, money is hard to come by for the majority of us! We want what we pay for! I had a breast reduction and while he was friendly he often seemed distracted and in a hurry. I was willing to overlook all that, but more than a year later I do NOT want to undres in front of friends or family. The quality of the work wasn't great. 1-one breast was much larger than the other after surgery. 2-I ripped open and he had me pack the wounds with Providone-iodine. It completely dried my skin out and after several weeks I spoke to a wound specialist on my own, who was shocked that I was using Providone. I was told to start with Medi honey. Within ONE week I finally started to heal, but I was left with huge thick dry scars because of what Dr CK had me do. 3-I had a revision that I had to pay for with him and the breasts still weren't even. 4-My nipples are COMPLETELY different sizes and shapes. One is a small flower with PETALS. The other is a larger cookie with a bite taken out. I have NEVER seen after photos where the nipples were sooo different. They are def not even circles. read more

Dr. Csikai is my guy! Where do I start? Amazing staff from the front to the back of the Operating room! It's always immaculate and smelling good when you walk in and down the hallways. It's very private when you visit. I love Dr.Csikai and the work he does, his prices are much much more reasonable than others and he can have it that way because he is the best! Even if he did cost more I would still see him and let him do my procedure. I have established comfort and trust here at first coast. He will answer all your questions that you have. you do not have to be embarrassed with him, he is there to enhance your beauty. He respects what you want and gives an honest answer. This place is not just a surgery place, they become your family before and after. The girls in the front are so fun and professional and very helpful and understanding after surgery. In March 2022, I spent over $14,000 on a "Mommy makeover" with plastic surgeon Dr. David Csikai. Regretfully, in May 2022, I faced distressing issues caused by mistakes made by the doctor and his team, leading to various infections. I have meticulously documented everything, although I have not shared all the evidence due to its graphic nature. After experiencing complications following procedures, including breast splitting, infections, incorrect nipple placement, unevenly distributed liposuction, and an enclosed belly button, I now have raised, jagged, uneven scars on my breasts. Dr. Csikai initially acknowledged the mistakes and offered a scar revision and discounted lipo to correct the errors. However, he mentioned that I needed to wait 3 months to heal before the scar revision could be done. Despite his RN's attempts to upsell a $4300 lipo surgery, I declined since we'd already spent $14,000. The doctor eventually agreed to perform the lipo for $2300. I reluctantly paid a $500 deposit for the lipo scheduled for March 2024, but later requested a refund out of fear of undergoing surgery with him again. Although I expressed interest in moving forward with the scar revision as promised, I received no response. After multiple attempts to reach the RN, Montana, I was eventually informed that I had been refunded and that the doctor was no longer comfortable doing the scar revision. She then canceled my appointments. Dr. Csikai did not fulfill his promises to correct the errors since I was not willing to spend more money with him. I had a negative experience with Dr. Csikai and his team before and after surgery. During appointments, he appeared distracted, disorganized, and inattentive. The lack of organization and follow-up post-surgery resulted in a delay in my post-op appointment, worsening my condition due to poor communication. Instead of an in-person visit, I was instructed by Lori to remove my stitches at home. I felt unfairly blamed for surgery-related issues, such as being repeatedly questioned about smoking despite never having smoked a day in my life. Dr. Csikai's forgetfulness was evident as he asked that same question multiple times during my visits. The RN, Lori, advised me to remove stitches to ease my comfort without specifying which ones, leading to complications and breast splitting. The doctor prescribed antibiotics for the infection, and implant removal was brought up. Lori left the office without explanation after that. During one appointment, the doctor expressed concern and asked if I had removed the "blue stitches." Also, Kim informed me that the doctor has vision issues, potentially contributing to the surgical errors. Kim used her fingers to point in front of her, pulling one hand back, to explain how his eyesight was impaired. Explaining how he doesn't see distance/depth well and that things are skewed when he's looking straight on. Dr. Csikai now has a new RN, Montana. The turnover of 3 RNs in 2 years is unusual. Lastly, and arguably the most disturbing detail, was the unauthorized work Dr. Csikai performed. What was supposed to be a routine Mommy makeover (breast aug/lift/tummy tuck), Dr. Csikai performed unauthorized vaginal work on me without my consent, including a procedure to "tighten" the external vaginal area. When I recovered from surgery, I noticed that area was extremely swollen. When the swelling dissipated, I realized he must have thought he was doing me a favor. I did not give birth vaginally; I had 2 cesareans (hence the Mommy makeover), so vaginal reconstruction was not part of the agreed-upon procedures. To take that kind of liberty with someone's body while they're unconscious is egregious. Dr. Csikai acted below the standard of care of a medical professional. Due to the injury and infection caused by his actions, I plan to sue for malpractice and file a complaint with the AHA, requesting a refund of the $14,000 I paid him. Even if Dr. Csikai was willing to fix his mistakes, I would never undergo surgery with him again. read more

I've been wanting to get my boobs done since probably 2007 probably, but it wasn't a priority, so I've always stepped out from doing it, I've probably went to 8 different consultations throughout the years but never did it. Last year I was doing my research here in Jacksonville (I'm from Puerto Rico) and from four Drs. I went I picked Dr. Csikai and I wasn't wrong at all. I went to the consultation, all the staff was good, the Dr. Explain everything to perfection and made the recommendations he thought we're going to be perfect for my body type (I did went a little bigger, but not crazy big). The day of the surgery came, I wasn't nervous at all (I suffer from anxiety, plus I'm a scared cat), I went to the prep room with my husband, Dr. Chapman came in (Anesthesiologist) and it was like we've known him forever. He was super kind, explaining everything to the point we really didn't have any questions to ask. Dr. Csikai is a complete perfectionist. It hasn't been a week yet and I look fabulous. I am very pleased with the service I have recieved from Dr. CSIKAI and his staff. I had a Tummy Tuck schedule with another Plastic surgeon down in Miami, when they canceled due to an issue with my medication I panicked!!! Please be of caution if you use this doctor for breast augmentation. After my implants were placed 4 years ago, Saline Mentor smooth round I had a horrific neurological reaction to the implants which the doctor had no knowledge of. He was unaware of breast implant illness nor did he recognize my symptoms even after I complained and let him know exactly what was happening to me. It was Just as if he just wanted to do his job and get out of there. Three days after implants I started suffering from breast implant illness and neither Dr. Csikai nor the office staff had any idea what I was going through and completely dismissed my symptoms instead of Proper protocol which was to take my claim seriously and report it to the FDA and especially to mentor. Over the years my symptoms went up and down but never went away. He refused to believe me that it could be the implants causing my Neurological symptoms. After four years I finally found a group of over 100k women Who were experiencing the same symptoms and I Explanted. Almost all of my neurological symptoms have vanished and my physical symptoms are completely gone and I am starting to feel like myself again. I have the bloodwork and paperwork to prove that the implants were affecting my health and my neurotransmitters. Both the doctor and his staff should not dismiss patients and their issues. read more

Dr Ck is fantastic! He knows exactly what he is doing and is a perfectionist. His staff is delightful and his nurse Laurie is very helpful and patient. Dr.Csikai is a terrible surgeon as well as a terrible human being. I don't know how he sleeps at night. He ruined my body forever and he ruined what were suppose to be some of the best years of my life. I've missed out on so much over the last 6 years because I'm embarrased of what I look like. I have spent the majority of my 20's physically and emotionally suffering because of his careless unprofessional choices that he made while I was unconcious in his care. Three surgeries with him and he still couldn't fix what he did. He and his staff lied to my face multiple times and they altered my records. Why? If he did nothing wrong? Dr. Csikai overfilled my implants by more than twice their maximum capacity, lied to me about how many CC's they actually were, altered all of my medical records and disposed of most of my pictures. The first augmentation he did required 2 more revisions by him that still turned out badly and a 4th revision/aggressive maxtopexy by another surgeon to fix what he did. Because of his negligence I will have to live the rest of my life with a ton of scarring and still have huge breasts.
