I moved in to one of their many properties in July of 2020. My mother had previously lived in…read moreanother property and di not have complaints at the time. My place was at Victor South Apartments. It looks like an old extended stay hotel from the 50's-60's on a boiler system. Had issues from day one. My unit seemed like it was rushed to get rented. There were lines in the carpet from a carpet cleaner, but I bought a brand new vacuum cleaner when I moved in and vacuumed the whole apartment the first day. It filled the canister completely... Disgusting. The carpet should have already been removed. My front window has not locked and has clearly been broken into and you can lift the whole pane of glass right out of it and come in my unit since July 2020. They always say the new window is on order. Many many other things from cracked tile to not being able to scrub/clean my appliances due to them being covered in cheap appliance paint. Mold.,. The air system is screwed. So much moisture problems through the whole building. The closet in my bedroom that is right by the system had mild and ruined about $500 worth of things I had stored. Took them 1 1/2-2 years to fix that. In addition there is mold currently coming out of my living room vent. They keep telling me to clean it with some bleach.... Neglecting the fact that it must be a problem throughout the whole system. Use your brains people........ Who should I sue or talk to about this? In addition I get an 11 day notice to renew my lease with a rent increase or to give my 30 day notice. I'm pretty sure the minimum notice is supposed to be 30 days. Now I get a text that a reminder I need to be out in 11 days. Fine, I'm trying to figure it out, but explain it to my 3 year old you slumlords...... I will add many many photos as soon as I can. I have to get off here to attend to my child
