There was fraud on my debit card, my account was drained, they only caught 2 of the smaller transactions, and reversed them. They said I would have to do a dispute for the rest of the charges even though they were only minutes apart. They make you come in to a branch and sign forms about the fraud, this took me about 30 minutes in the branch. They told me I would get the money back in 3-5 days. That's not the norm, first off. I called back in 4 business days to check on the status to find out the papers were never "sent in" from the branch I visited, so they can't process my money back to me. The customer service "manager" couldn't get ahold of the branch I signed papers at, so they have to request the papers electronically. I was on the phone for 25 minutes while she tried to get someone in the branch to answer the phone, just for her to tell me she couldn't help me today because no one would answer the phone at that branch. Then she continued to question me as if I never went in and signed the papers. They said they do not have to give me any type of provisional credit for the next 10 days and they will get back to me. This bank is a joke.

My husband has been a member for years and has been prompting me to switch over from Cy Fair Federal Credit Union because they are always adding unnecessary fees and charges to my account. Because I was a member for ten years, it was hard for me to let go. However, the feeling surely isn't mutual because Cy Fair Credit Union does not show appreciation and respect for their customers. So, imagine my surprise when I visited Navy Fed for the first time and was treated with respect and importance. Upon entering, I was greeted by the receptionist at the help desk. I forgot his name but he was polite and welcoming. I told him the nature of my visit, he pulled up my account, found me in the system, and directed me to get in line to speak further with a teller. The teller that assisted me was a handsome Italian young man by the name of Giancarlo. He was friendly, welcoming, and ready to assist me with any questions or concerns about my new checking/savings account. By the way, I set up my new account online and it was super fast and easy! However, I had to visit them in person to request the direct deposit forms for my job. Overall, my visit was a pleasant and delightful one. I walked away feeling like I made the right decision about switching over, especially after reading over the many awesome benefits of being a Navy Fed Member. I am highly recommending this credit union for anyone who is looking for fast and easy service without all of the unnecessary charges and fees. They also have great benefits such as life insurance, home loans, credit cards, and more, which are easily accessible for members.
